Best way to the experience the beautiful islands around Split

We booked two private excursions, one to Hvar /Pakleni islands and the other to Trogir/ vela rina bay, Solta and Ciovo. We had Captain Duje for both days and he was the greatest. He knows the best places to anchor and how to avoid the crowds. The water looks like the Caribbean and the small towns are very picturesque. We had 2 stand up paddle boards which added to the fun and they also provide you with snorkeling equipment and plenty of water. Make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen and water shoes since the beaches are rocky. The boat has shading and a hand held shower. If I wasn’t leaving Split tomorrow I would book another private tour.

Perfect day. Communication was efficient, boat was new and very comfortable, and the locations we got to visit made it a day we won’t forget!

    Perfect day trip

This was a fantastic tour. It was just my sister and me and we loved every second of it. Ivan was so friendly, but also respectful of our time on the boat. He engaged with us in conversation when we asked questions and also let us enjoy our time together alone. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an easy way to see the islands surrounding Split or just a day on the water.

A great way to explore the islands

We had a private excursion on a speedboat with the skipper Blaz. It was a wonderful trip to the islands, combining the city of Hvar, time on a beautiful beach, a good restaurant where you go with the boat right to its entrance, and some snorkeling near a sunk ship. The communication with Ivan, the owner, was very good, and he even came to take us with the boat from a point close to our apartment, so we came on foot. Blaz was great. told us all there is to know about the islands and Croatia. Highly recommended

    Boat tour

We had an AMAZING time on the private boat tour today!!! I recommend this company! Boat was very nice and skipper “Blaze” was incredible. My 3 children ages 16, 15 and 12 loved the excursion. Blaze was friendly, and was very knowledgeable about all the islands we visited. We loved every minute and was one of the best days we had on the island!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.

How much does Hvar-Brac-Solta speedboat tour from Split or Trogir cost?

    +

Prices start at $992 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hvar-Brac-Solta speedboat tour from Split or Trogir take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.

Is Hvar-Brac-Solta speedboat tour from Split or Trogir worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hvar-Brac-Solta speedboat tour from Split or Trogir?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Hvar-Brac-Solta speedboat tour from Split or Trogir suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Hvar-Brac-Solta speedboat tour from Split or Trogir?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hvar-Brac-Solta speedboat tour from Split or Trogir start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Split?

    +

On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Split?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Split?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
