We booked the day trip from Hurghada to Cairo with Red Sea Vibes Travels and are very satisfied. The pickup was punctual and the whole day was well organized. The team was friendly and helpful. Our tour guide was very professional and explained everything clearly. This allowed us to enjoy the Egyptian Museum and the pyramids in peace. It was especially nice to see how much fun our children had. For our whole family, it was an unforgettable day and one of the highlights of our vacation in Egypt. Bazaar will NOT BE VISITED & Nile cruise ALSO NOT. Despite the description in the booking. The tour guide did not care!
The excursion was very nice and not stressful for me, as I was picked up at the hotel at 1:30 AM and could sleep in the air-conditioned small bus. There were 8 other people with me in the bus. There were enough chilled water bottles for everyone, so I didn't even have to touch my own water bottle that I brought. We first arrived at the pyramids in the morning. And I could decide on-site whether I wanted to book an additional ticket to go inside the Cheops Pyramid. That cost about 10 € extra at the ticket counter, but to be honest. I would have even paid 50 € or more for it because I really wanted to go inside. However, one must also consider that the pyramids are not always open, so one could only view them from the outside. That is why some tour guides do not offer the option to go inside the pyramids online, but only to stand on the grounds, as they cannot decide whether one is allowed to enter the pyramids or not. The camel ride was actually quite nice except for the fact that the animals in Giza look very neglected. So dirty and not happy, with tears in their eyes because they are directly whipped in the face by their handlers. In fact, I even regret having ridden a camel on-site and will not do that again if I should go to Giza again. You can clearly notice the difference when participating in other excursions in the desert, where the camels have much nicer, shinier, and cleaner fur and are even cuddled and kissed by their handlers. They receive much more love than the camels in Giza. The camel ride was included, by the way. Afterward, we visited a very large perfume shop, which was very beautiful, where many perfumes were displayed and the arm was smeared with testers to smell them. The perfume shop has a terrace on top with a view of the pyramids. We visited the papyrus workshop, where one is shown in a quick overview how papyrus was made in the past using real papyrus. You receive a papyrus sheet about the size of A4 with pictures on it and your own name and date of birth written in hieroglyphs, almost for free. However, it may also be that I was the only one on the bus who received it almost for free because I was the only one who refused to buy anything there, knowing how expensive real papyrus would be. But the local advisors were very friendly and just didn't want me to leave empty-handed. I no longer remember how much the others paid for it. But I believe, no, I know that they actually paid much more than I did for it :) Anyone who wants to visit the ancient museum must be prepared that while the museum still offers some things to see, namely only 2 mummies, the absolutely most beautiful and impressive items have unfortunately already been moved to the new museum. Had I known that earlier, I would have preferred to book the new museum. Make sure to book the new museum instead. They have the mask of Tutankhamun and the sarcophagus, as well as all the remaining 50 mummies, etc. The restaurant where we ate was also very elegant and beautiful. There was a very delicious buffet that was even kept warm at the table by a kind of mini stove or grill or something similar. What I did not like was that I explicitly asked the tour guide repeatedly throughout the day whether we would go to a bazaar. And she then said that because it was Sunday, the El Khalili bazaar and all other bazaars were supposedly closed. Unfortunately, that was a lie, because I had researched, and especially the El Khalili bazaar and all the others are open EVERY day for tourism. And this, even though it explicitly states in the booking that we would visit a bazaar. I was very disappointed about this and had to constantly rush and spontaneously look around whenever we passed by somewhere, trying to see if I could find something to buy that I really wanted, but I was constantly hurried by the tour guide because she just kept walking so we could move on, as she really had no desire to go shopping with us, even though it is explicitly stated in the booking. She could have at least taken us to a small bazaar and spent half an hour with us so that we could look around in peace. And such things really annoy me because I was really looking forward to the bazaar. Who wants to buy small pyramid and Sphinx souvenirs that look like the real ones from another city, if not directly from Giza or Cairo? We also did not take a Nile cruise because the tour guide simply had no interest in it. Instead, she asked the group if anyone wanted to do it and only based her decision on whether the majority would go, even though it is also explicitly stated in the booking that it is optional, which means that if someone wants to do it, they can do it themselves and do not have to depend on whether others want to join or not. They could have looked around in some shops in the meantime or just chilled on the bus, because honestly, how long does a Nile cruise take? Maybe a maximum of half an hour! Outrageous! At this point, I would make it clear from the very beginning on such an excursion that I want to do certain things because it is stated in the booking, and otherwise, I would leave a negative review and demand my money back, because you only have this experience once in a lifetime and pay for it, only to not receive the service you paid for. Of course, she did not receive a tip from me. Otherwise, we made some stops along the way where we could visit a restroom, among other things, or quickly grab something to eat. However, one must expect to always pay an entrance fee for the restrooms, which is about £20, not much. It is also advisable to bring moist toilet paper and disinfectant, as toilet paper is not always available everywhere on the go. I did not find the tour itself exhausting. I was well-rested because I had my very high neck pillow, my blanket, and sleep mask, along with breakfast prepared by the hotel reception with me on the bus. Therefore, I can only recommend to anyone who does not want to struggle for 6.5 hours on the bus in the middle of the night, unable to rest their head properly and not able to sleep, to prepare properly for such an excursion. I also had melatonin gummy drops with me, so the ride itself was relaxed for me. Only the lack of service annoyed me!

Amazing experience!
This was an absolute amazing experience! We had a small group and stayed together throughout and the minibus drivers were friendly. When we reached Cairo, we met with Sarah, our tour guide who was lovely from the beginning and explained many things in detail and ensured we had time for all activities throughout the day. I would highly recommend this trip and the tour guide as we had a fantastic experience!
