    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable experience!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable experience! What an incredible day we had with Go Shalabi! From the very beginning, we received a warm welcome from Marmoud, who turned out to be an outstanding guide. He explained everything clearly, made sure everyone felt comfortable, and knew exactly where to take us for the best experience. We enjoyed an amazing speedboat trip across the beautiful Red Sea, snorkeled at stunning reefs, visited the breathtaking Orange Bay, walked on a sandbank in the middle of the Red Sea, and, to top it all off… we spotted wild dolphins! That was truly a magical moment. The children even got the chance to steer the speedboat under the captain’s supervision, which was an unforgettable experience for them. Everything was perfectly organized, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the entire crew went above and beyond to make this day special. We highly recommend Go Shalabi to anyone visiting Hurghada. If you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure on the Red Sea, this is the excursion to book. We are going home with memories that will last a lifetime. A huge thank you to Marmoud, the captain, and the entire Go Shalabi team. You made our holiday even more special! 🌊🐬☀️🚤

    Great Guide, Disappointing Boat Experience

We had a wonderful time on the water and our guide Joseph was absolutely excellent — he's clearly the heart and soul of this operation. His guidance during the snorkeling session was top-notch, and he made the experience memorable for our family. However, the boat itself left much to be desired. We were seated at the very front of the speedboat, where the ride became quite intense — the hard impacts on the water were jarring, especially for our two young children. We couldn't help but notice that other tour operators had their passengers seated at the back of their boats, which seemed to offer a far smoother and more comfortable ride. The seating conditions were substandard: the cushions were old, loose, and appeared to be falling apart — in some cases literally detaching from the boat. There was also no shade whatsoever, which made the experience uncomfortable in the heat. Meanwhile, neighboring operators had passengers sitting on well-maintained, secure cushions, shaded, and even enjoying background music. They seemed to glide effortlessly across the water while we were left bouncing through it. We understand difference between operators, but for the sake of safety and comfort — particularly with children on board — we hope improvements can be made. Joseph deserves to be working with equipment that matches his professionalism.

    Amazing value Great staff

Amazing experience. Second time we have used this operator. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and helpful and really care about your safety . Nice food. Plenty of drinks and great boat. Faultless.

    Ridiculous

Great day..but the only issues is with the TRANSFERS, avoid transfers at all costs, drivers unaware of where to take return passengers..which will result in long drive back hotel.no organisation at all

A great trip on the Red Sea

A great trip via a massive speedboat to orange bay and then megawish island plus snorkelling on the way home of you wish. I have a video on my YouTube channel @vickisworldtravel if anyone is interested. Orange bay is beautiful but very busy and a massive tourist trap. Megawish island was much more chilled and relaxing. The trip home was stunning as the sun was setting and some people participated in snorkelling. I booked via GetYourGuide and can recommend this trip.

Hurghada Speedboat Trip to Orange Bay and Magawish Islands: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hurghada.

How much does Hurghada Speedboat Trip to Orange Bay and Magawish Islands cost?

    +

Prices start at $266 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hurghada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hurghada Speedboat Trip to Orange Bay and Magawish Islands take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hurghada is not rushed.

Is Hurghada Speedboat Trip to Orange Bay and Magawish Islands worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 43 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hurghada Speedboat Trip to Orange Bay and Magawish Islands?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Hurghada Speedboat Trip to Orange Bay and Magawish Islands suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Hurghada Speedboat Trip to Orange Bay and Magawish Islands?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hurghada Speedboat Trip to Orange Bay and Magawish Islands start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hurghada?

    +

On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada Diving Adventure one Day with two Dives Boat Trip, Hurghada to Cairo: Pyramids & Museum for First-Time Visitors, Scuba Diving Full Day Boat Trip W/Lunch & Transfer from Hurghada. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hurghada?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hurghada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
