Be cautious when booking this. Read carefully.

Safari trip I don’t normally give low ratings, but this one deserves it and I justified it below in the pros and cons of This trip. I did recognize the PROs but the CON were just too big. I would never recommend this to someone. PROS - the quading was fun and you got to get up to speed that would even be OK for an intermediate rider. It was basically just follow the leader in a desert dirt plane and we were all driving in a line, but there was a lot of bumps so that was pretty fun. - Seeing the real desert was interesting. - The dinner was ok but you were limited to one cola before you had to pay more. - The entertainment was decent. CONS - The trip should definitely ask you on WhatsApp for your passport information ahead of time instead of ambushing people on the trip there that would be a smart thing to do and other tours do it. The driver made us fill out a form and said no passport no Safari, but we were already halfway there. - The Quads and the dune buggies used are really really beat up and crappy. My wife’s squad literally broke down halfway through the trip and she had to wait and get a new one. - If you’re over 6 feet tall, you’re gonna have a lot of difficulty fitting in the front seat of one of the dune buggies. They’re very small. - The buggy trip in the advertisement 15 minutes basically driving four minutes out to make you wait for four minutes and then drive back back and that’s it. It’s super quick and not even enjoyable. - This is probably one of the biggest issues. There is so much waiting around. It takes a lot of fun out of this Excursion. We showed up and sat down in the reception area for about 30 minutes before we went to the Quads. Then we came back and sat around for another 30 minutes in reception before we got to do the dune buggies. Then we sat around for almost an hour waiting to take the jeep out to the bedone village. And let me point out all this waiting around is done in a shaded area outside in the massive feet. You’re not even in a comfortable room. It’s super hot still and there is no free water. - This is another big complaint. we bought four adult tickets as a family two adults and two children and when it came to going on the buggies, they made us all ride in one four seater and everyone else got two seaters and when we said we wanted two buggies for 2 people each because we paid they would not let us. I think that’s just being cheap and I was not impressed with that. - The trip into the desert by Jeep to see the bedone village frankly is horrible. It’s about half an hour one way of bouncing, potholes and curving in the Jeep and you don’t even have a nice seat. You’re crammed into the back of the Jeep on bench seats and stuffed into a little area with nine other people. If you have a bad back and cannot sit crouched for more than 30 minutes, I would not advise going on that. It was really hard on the back and legs. We saw someone pass out from the heat exhaustion today after the van probably because the trip provides no water the whole day. - I don’t know if I said it already, but they offered no water for the whole day all seven hours. I guess they expect you to pay for all the water they don’t give you the courtesy of giving you anything. I was not very impressed with that especially when I had children with me. - To top off a very long day they cram you again back in the unairconditioed jeep to go back to your hotel. Brutal. - The English guide can barely speak English and is pretty uninformative unless trying to sell you something. TIPS - Buy a head scarf before you come here you could normally get one at a tourist store for 100 Egyptian pounds. It’ll save you a bit of money. Also, I did the quads and buggies just with sunglasses and I found it was perfectly fine. I didn’t need to rent goggles. - Bring lots of water because you get thirsty with all the sitting around and waiting that you do - Kids under 16 cannot ride anything even if you see it in the pictures.

Hurghada Safari Trip Quad, Buggy, Jeep, Camel, Dinner, and Show: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hurghada.

How much does Hurghada Safari Trip Quad, Buggy, Jeep, Camel, Dinner, and Show cost?

+

Prices start at $4 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hurghada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hurghada Safari Trip Quad, Buggy, Jeep, Camel, Dinner, and Show take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hurghada is not rushed.

Is Hurghada Safari Trip Quad, Buggy, Jeep, Camel, Dinner, and Show worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 217 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hurghada Safari Trip Quad, Buggy, Jeep, Camel, Dinner, and Show?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Hurghada Safari Trip Quad, Buggy, Jeep, Camel, Dinner, and Show suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Hurghada Safari Trip Quad, Buggy, Jeep, Camel, Dinner, and Show?

+

Around 76 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hurghada Safari Trip Quad, Buggy, Jeep, Camel, Dinner, and Show start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hurghada?

+

On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada: Luxor Valley of the Kings & Tutankhamun Tomb Trip, Orange Bay Island, Luxury Cruise to Orange Bay and Hula Hula island Trip. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hurghada?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hurghada?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
