Unforgettable day in Cairo

What to say about this day? Just incredible! We left with our 2 drivers Mohamed and Mustafa to whom we take our hats off because 6 hours of travel is not easy for us but even less for them. After a 6-hour journey (stop included in this from El Gouna). We arrive at our first stop at the pyramids of Giza it is 8:30 a.m. (we are lucky because there are still few people). Our guide gets on board and we meet Mohamed who will accompany us all day and explain the sites to us as well as play the role of photographer, which we really appreciated. After visiting the site we stop at a papyrus store run by the state, so not in the souk. We are impressed by the kindness and explanations of the young lady who passionately explains to us the manner and art of its design. After a quick purchase, we are offered another perfume stop or other souvenir at our convenience. We choose to go straight to eat. The place is nice, where he also organizes weddings (be careful, this is not the restaurant that you can see in the photos with a view of the pyramids, which disappointed me a little) but the restaurant was clean. and very correct in terms of quantity and quality. We head back to the Cairo Museum where you will find everything that Mohamed explained to you about the site of the pyramids. We are shocked by the number of treasures installed there. You will even have the chance to see 2 mummies in perfect condition. After this visit it is 1 p.m. we leave again towards El Gouna the journey is done almost in one go and we arrive at our hotel around 7 p.m. A big thank you to the whole team for this unforgettable day.
