A Pleasant Gateway
Very nice place to relax and rejuvenate. Highly recommended. Their breakfast is superb with fresh greens from the farm. Staff like zainab and Hazmi serving us at the breakfast table makes us feel at home. They service with a bright smile. Thank you.

Amazing last minute save to Machu Picchu
I had issues with two separate companies for my Machu Picchu excursion on 7/4/2022 due to an anticipated strike in Cusco. One company canceled completely and another company could not provide me definitive information for the trip. This was my only day available to see Machu Picchu and Olger went above and beyond last minute to help me get to Machu Picchu. He provided all transportation tickets and guides to meet me at every stop. He genuinely cares about travelers and as a solo female traveler it meant the world to me to have this last minute assistance. Thank you Olger!

SCAM
Totally looking forward to this trip. They cancelled on me. I called them and said they canceled but they refunded me 100%. That was over 10 days ago. They said my bank was holding funds. I'm using a credit union and they don't do that..But, I called them and they said no. Nothing is being held. Which we all know is going on. SCAM. DONT BOOK WITH THEM. It leaves a sour taste in my mouth for Cusco. Everything can go perfect but when you get scammed, it gets all thrown out the window. My advice is to avoid Trip advisor. They haven't done crap to help me either. Book with local companies in local historical centre. Cheaper, reliable and you have the person/company in front of you.

You have to book this tour if you are planning to visit Rainbow Mountain.
All I can say is WOW. Some of my best pictures for my Peru Trip were from this tour. You get near the top of Rainbow mountain on a nice slow paced ATV tour that really let's you enjoy the 360 view getting up there. We passed so many alpaca and llama's - was really a pleasure to ride up this way. You still have to hike to the top and you will feel the altitude, I had a small backpack and I was really dragging behind others in my group. The tour guide saw me slowing down and offered to carry my backup - what a difference. Even the fairly light weight being removed was a huge help. Was very thoughtful of the guide to offer his help. You will not be disappointed in this tour.

Awesome Day
The host were very nice and professional. They picked us up form out AirBnb, it was not easy to get to. They had great communication on what’s app and we’re on time. The tour was breathtaking and the rainbow mountain was great to. You do need to bring 25 sol to get into the park and and extra 80 sol if you want to take a dirt bike or horse up the mountain for the last little bit (completely worth it that elevation will get you) we came back got served lunch which was fantastic and they had us home by 5. Great day and beautiful

Humantay Lake small group with late morning departure option: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Humantay Lake small group with late morning departure option cost?
+
Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Humantay Lake small group with late morning departure option take?
+
Plan for about 13 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Humantay Lake small group with late morning departure option worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 54 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Humantay Lake small group with late morning departure option?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Humantay Lake small group with late morning departure option suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 13. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 13-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Humantay Lake small group with late morning departure option?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 13-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Humantay Lake small group with late morning departure option start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
