Excellent experience. 😘🙌

It was undoubtedly a wonderful experience. Our tour guide Tony and the Driver were excellent, super friendly and attentive to us all the time, I highly recommend them. My husband Gregorio and I were delighted by this whole anecdote. The view and landscape is spectacular. It's worth living. Thank you ☺️

Trip of a lifetime

Facilitated a seamless and epic travel experience. I’ve had over 15 friends ask for his contact to do the same trip. Trio of a lifetime

Amazing hike with Tony!!

This was our last adventure of our 8 day stay in Peru and what a way to finish our trip. It was a long drive to get there but boy was it worth it! We had a chef who prepared a lovely breakfast before we headed out (omelette, bread/jam, fresh avocado). Our amazing tour guide Tony filled us in what to expect as we would be ascending to nearly 14,000 ft elevation. We hiked about 30 minutes and then had the option to take guided horses up the majority of the hike - great option for my family as my kids don’t love hiking! It was a BEAUTIFUL hike to the turquoise lake. We also got to see condors flying about on 2 occasions - incredible! As my family rested and ate some snacks, I climbed up further to get a glimpse of the view away from the other people…. Magnificent, highly recommend. After our hike down, our chef has prepared the most delicious lunch for us (soup, salad, chicken, potatoes). Bring money to use the bathrooms at base camp.

Recommended full day experience 🙂

The Hunantay experience was fascinating, from the early pickup and the attendance on boarding, bringing us some sheets. Amilcar the guide was super friendly and patient to explain every detail & stories. I'm also happy because we arrived to Humantay Lake early avoiding crowds. The food by th Cheff Martín was delicious, we enjoyed. I recommend this full day experience!

Unforgettable and different experience

I loved the experience! Since they picked us up on time, we got into the van and there were warm blankets for each of us! A very simple detail but one that I had never seen on any other tour. We only went with 5 people, the transport was comfortable and the guide, driver and chef were friendly and very professional. The breakfast was very good, with fruits and light foods. We arrived at the lagoon before the hundreds of tourists, so we were able to enjoy the view and the silence of being in such a wonderful place like this. We returned from trekking and had lunch, the chef prepared a special dish for me, who is vegetarian, it was delicious! I loved the experience, I highly recommend it.

Humantay Lake day tour (6 Small Group): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does Humantay Lake day tour (6 Small Group) cost?

+

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Humantay Lake day tour (6 Small Group) take?

+

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is Humantay Lake day tour (6 Small Group) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Humantay Lake day tour (6 Small Group)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Humantay Lake day tour (6 Small Group) suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 15. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 11-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Humantay Lake day tour (6 Small Group)?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Humantay Lake day tour (6 Small Group) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

+

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
