Dwan, our guide, was great!

Dwan was a great guide and took us around Vung Tau. He made sure we got back to the ship on time and was in communication with me before the trip started because we were experiencing delay arriving to the port because the ship was running late due to a medical emergency. The only note I have about the tour is more about the description of it, we didn’t really follow this itinerary that is listed and we actually checked out two museums which is not listed in the discretion at all… we first started by going to a historical site that required a little climb up a mountain, had a snack and some beer at a local restaurant, then we stopped at a museum, after that we drove to a coffee shop- had some delicious coffee, then we went and had lunch, and ended the trip with another museum…. We did choose to drive by the Jesus statue instead of climbing up to it because we were short on time… but that was really the only thing that was in the description of this listing. It felt like we kind of did our own thing instead of following the itinerary stated. Which is fine and it was a great day and our guide was great, but I wish the description matched the actual picture of what the day was. I had no clue we would visit two museums or climb up a mountain lol

Fabulous day in Ho Chi Minh Thing was so welcoming and knowledgeable. He explained lots of things about the Vietnamese life, culture, politics and history. Had a local cuisine and topped with a fabulous water bus ride.

Fantastic tour! Hung was...

Fantastic tour! Hung was our guide. We got to eat local foods, see some local markets and of course visit the largest Jesus statue in Vietnam. We had a comfortable ride which picked us up at the port. Highly recommended

Hue Imperial City and Royal Tombs Scenic Tour With Hai Van Pass: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.

How much does Hue Imperial City and Royal Tombs Scenic Tour With Hai Van Pass cost?

+

Prices start at $48000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hue Imperial City and Royal Tombs Scenic Tour With Hai Van Pass take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.

Is Hue Imperial City and Royal Tombs Scenic Tour With Hai Van Pass worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hue Imperial City and Royal Tombs Scenic Tour With Hai Van Pass?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Hue Imperial City and Royal Tombs Scenic Tour With Hai Van Pass suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Hue Imperial City and Royal Tombs Scenic Tour With Hai Van Pass?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hue Imperial City and Royal Tombs Scenic Tour With Hai Van Pass start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Da Nang?

+

On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Da Nang?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Da Nang?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
