Hue is the capital city of Thua Thien – Hue Province, Vietnam. Between 1802 and 1945, it was the imperial capital of the Nguyen dynasty. This is a famous historic site, where we have seen many beauties of Vietnamese culture since 1600s. Hue is romantic with peace and charm of Perfume River. Thien Mu Pagoda
We pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang city and heading to Hue Boat Station. From there, we take a boat trip on Perfume River by Dragon Boat to Thien Mu Pagoda. The Pagoda ( Heavenly Lady pagoda), is an icon of Vietnam and as potent a symbol of Hue as the Citadel. The name of the pagoda came from a legend that an old woman once appeared on the hill and said that a Lord would come and build a Buddhist pagoda for the country’s prosperity. Thien Mu Pagoda was ranked one of the twenty most beautiful landscapes in Hue with the poem Thien Mu chung thanh, composed by the emperor Thieu Tri, inscribed on the stone stele set near the Pagoda gate.

Hue Imperial City (The Citadel)
Then we will visit one of Vietnam’s seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Imperial City of Hue. It has long been a must-see attraction for tourists visiting a hidden charm of Vietnam. In this private Hue city tour, the first stop we will visit is Hue Imperial Citadel. The Imperial City of Hue was actually a walled fortress and palace belonged to the ancient city of Hue which was a capital city of the Nguyen Dynasty for 140 years. It was said to be protected by the two sand dunes as "dragon on the left, tiger on the right".

Royal Tombs
After having traditional lunch, our guide will lead you visit the Nguyen Emperors’ Royal Tombs such as the tomb of Tu Duc King – The 4th king of the Nguyen’s Dynasty, it has oriental architecture and attract most travelers by its own ancient beauty. The last visit is Khai Dinh Tomb – The 11th king of the Nguyen Dynasty with modern style combine between oriental and occidental architecture. The tour will end when you are back Da Nang hotel around 18:30

Great historical tour of Hue with stories!
Great one day tour with a very knowledgable and interesting tour guide. First, the car was great with seatbelts for all seats. The drive was 2.5 hours one way but did not feel tiring (slept most of the time on the way back). Very thorough tour of Hue with full of historical stories about each of the Nguyen Kings. Following probably the best lunch during our Da Nang visit, we visited Thien Mu Pagoda and Khai Dinh Tomb, both very interesting and again, with interesting stories that go with it. I would recommend to those who is looking for a concise and selectively condensed one day tour of Hue! 日本人ですが、英語でも良ければ最高のツアーです！丁寧で面白い説明が豊富にあるので、英語を十分理解できるとベストです。

group tour from Da Nang to Hue in one day
We had great fun during our trip in Hue. Th loyal citedal & tomb are very interesting. I was also impressed by the tour guide, a young little girl – Snow, she was very friendly and did as much as she can to introduce the Hue history to us. The food was nice too. The only suggestion I would like to give you is, on our way to Hue, we went through Hai Van Pass tunnel, it will be better to go Hue via the mountain high.

Excellent Arrangement
It was a very nice experience for us. I like how you confirm the meet up details with me via Whatsapp. Indeed the scenery is stunning, especially the Khai Dinh Tomb. The tour guide has very rich knowledge in Vietnamese history and culture (Please let him know we love his tour). The food met our expectation too. Just a bit unfortunate that the boat trip need to be cancelled because of heavy rain. Would be perfect if there is a back up plan during rain season. Overall it was an excellent experience in Hue!
