Amazing Hue tour
Miss Van is an amazing tour guide and is a lively and bubbly person. The tour was very well organised with excellent communication throughout. Miss Van not only has exceptional historical and cultural knowledge, but also speaks good English and has a good sense of humour. The lunch provided was plentiful and delicious and catered to various dietary preferences and allergies. We would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Da Nang, Hue or Hoi An as we had a fantastic experience on the tour.

Enjoyable and excellent experience
Excellent service with great variety of things to see and locations. Tour guide Van Was also really good, very funny and learnt a lot. Lunch was also exceptional. Drinks you have to pay for but the food you get still makes it worth it. The transit via the train and and bus both show you a lot of vietnams beautiful landscapes and gives great peace of mind to enjoy the day. We’ll worth it. The price for Australian a is a bout $100 per person but given how much you do, it is good value.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the great review! We’re glad you were happy with our service. It would be great if you could keep spreading the good word and let more people know about us! Thanks again for the great review and we hope to have other trips with you again soon!

Amazing day in Hue
The trip was interesting and well organized. If in the beginning I thought there were not many activities included, in the end I was spent and was glad we didn't have more planned lol. We started off with a hotel pick up and Hai van pass which was beautiful. A quick stop by lagoons and we continued by van to Imperial city. Our guide, Tiam, was kind and helpful, taking pictures of each group and explaining things interestingly. The lunch was delicious and fulfilling, and during the day we got two water bottles. We continued with a temple and a tomb, and then finished by bus to Danang. I only wish we had more time at the imperial city, but other than that I have no complaints!
Response from the operator: Your lovely and valuable review is reason why we do our job by our heart. This must encourage our staff in upgrading our services a lot. I make sure that you feedback would be read by our staff, then we will be charged with great energy to make our tourists' trip memorable. Thank you for traveling with us!

Hue Citadel tour by authentic Train via Hai Van Pass from Da Nang: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.
How much does Hue Citadel tour by authentic Train via Hai Van Pass from Da Nang cost?
+
Prices start at $43 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Hue Citadel tour by authentic Train via Hai Van Pass from Da Nang take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.
Is Hue Citadel tour by authentic Train via Hai Van Pass from Da Nang worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 94 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 628 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Hue Citadel tour by authentic Train via Hai Van Pass from Da Nang?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Hue Citadel tour by authentic Train via Hai Van Pass from Da Nang suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Hue Citadel tour by authentic Train via Hai Van Pass from Da Nang?
+
Around 220 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Hue Citadel tour by authentic Train via Hai Van Pass from Da Nang start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Da Nang?
+
On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Da Nang?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Da Nang?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
