    Rescheduled for no reason

The flight was very nice as was the pilot, but I was texted a few days before the flight by Anna to say that our time had to be moved to one hour later than I had booked because of the need for our helicopter to "refuel" and this would take a "long time". I told her that I preferred not to move the time unless there was compensation because this was a gift for my boyfriend's birthday and I had planned an entire day around that particular flight time. She said that they reserved the right to change the flights (apparently, even up to hour and for no other reason than poor planning on their part), so we dealt with it and took the new time because the only other choice she gave us was to get a refund. When we arrived at the later time we were rescheduled for, we were informed that there were no refueling issues and the guy helping us had no idea why we were rescheduled. So our entire day was moved around for no reason.

Response from the operator: We contacted you a few days before your flight to inform you that we needed to move your departure time back by 1 hour because we likely needed to refuel before. This was an estimation and we offered you the front seat next to the pilot (usually a premium) as a gesture to make up for the inconvenience. We also offered you alternative times to accommodate you or a refund as last resort. We had a very busy schedule for the day of your flight and refueling can in fact take up to 30-40 minutes, so the change was made as a precaution to avoid a delay.

    +

What should I bring or wear?

    +

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
