4 days into the peruvian culture
It was a truly unique and unforgettable experience. David is a knowledgeable and experienced guide, extremely attentive to detail and always ready to share interesting anecdotes. He is also passionate about nature and birdlife, so he enriched me not only with the history of the places we visited, but also with insights into the typical flora and fauna of Peru. His passion and love for what he does clearly shine through in his storytelling. Both stays with the two families were impeccable: they were caring and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was genuine and warm. I had the opportunity to take part in their daily activities, listen to their stories, and prepare traditional dishes with them, such as tamales. On both occasions, the room was cozy and the bed very comfortable. The private transportation service was also punctual and flawless. The stay at Mamita Nati’s home was truly delightful. She prepared fantastic dishes using products from her own harvest, such as potatoes and quinoa, and for breakfast she made the best corn pancakes I have ever had in my life. She made my stay even more authentic and special, sharing her traditions and warmth in such a natural and generous way.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind comments. We are delighted to hear that the tour was well-organized. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the Peruvian cultural experience, especially spending time with our local family, and that everything went smoothly. Our guide will be thrilled to read your words, and we are glad that he took the time to answer all your questions without disrupting your experience. Thank you again for choosing us. We greatly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Peru for another unforgettable trip.

Memorable trek with wonderful moments !
What an adventure this was! From our very first discussion to the final goodbyes, the whole experience was incredible. One of the reasons we chose to travel with Peruvian Culture Tours was because it felt like a truly human-sized company. From the start, our exchanges with David were smooth, and we could immediately sense how dedicated he was. His responsiveness to all our questions really built our confidence before the trip. Everything was perfectly organised, and we were lucky to have David just for the two of us. This allowed for some flexibility to make small changes along the way. His deep knowledge and passion for his country helped us appreciate just how rich and diverse Peru is. If you like birds, David will be the perfect guide ! He is so knowledgeable ! The community stay was a wonderful addition to the itinerary, and visiting Machu Picchu was absolutely unforgettable. We highly recommend travelling with Peruvian Culture Tours if you’re looking for a more personal, flexible, and small-group experience.

Great Trip
Peruvian Culture Tours is fantastic. We originally were supposed to do the Short Trail to Machu Picchu, but it was closed and Peruvian Culture Tours pivoted and got us on this wonderful trek. Beautiful views, authentic interactions, and David knows everything you could possibly want to know about the history, nature, etc.

David is an amazing bird guide and hiking specialist
We spent a few days in the mountains leading into Macchu Pichu and David was excellent at helping us through the process of hiking, biking, rafting, and zip lining*. Organized transportation to perfection and joined us on all meals

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Huchuy Qosqo Trek, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu by Panoramic Train: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Huchuy Qosqo Trek, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu by Panoramic Train cost?
+
Prices start at $907 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Huchuy Qosqo Trek, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu by Panoramic Train take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Huchuy Qosqo Trek, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu by Panoramic Train worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Huchuy Qosqo Trek, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu by Panoramic Train?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Huchuy Qosqo Trek, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu by Panoramic Train suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Huchuy Qosqo Trek, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu by Panoramic Train?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Huchuy Qosqo Trek, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu by Panoramic Train start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
