Horrible experience with adventure rentals in Huntington

I booked the Moke with adventure rentals, when I booked I paid $90 but the site did not clarify if it was only for an hr or all day. When we arrived it was like they were not expecting us, the person working in the office was not very knowledgeable and the unprofessionalism was getting annoying. We finally took off and went for a drive down PCH and sat down for lunch I then got a call from the owner which he left a vm asking me to call him asap. When I called he said I only had the Moke for an hr I told him prior to us taking the Moke there was a sign on it that said rent for $50 and hr I paid $90. He told me I was wrong and the sign said $60 and told me he would give me an hr and a half. Ultimately after lunch we took it back. Honestly the Moke will hold you back unless you’re in a place where there are plenty of places to drive it. Huntington was not that place.

    Si cool

People in streets will won’t help to look at your moke and wave! Even a guy in a Porsche pulled over to say how cool the car is. People in the office were awesome and cleared out any question. Went to other beaches, only make sure you avoid high speed roads such as the PCH.

Is Hourly Moke Rentals in Huntington Beach worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 39 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Newport Beach, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hourly Moke Rentals in Huntington Beach?

    +

Is Hourly Moke Rentals in Huntington Beach suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Hourly Moke Rentals in Huntington Beach?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Newport Beach can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Newport Beach and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hourly Moke Rentals in Huntington Beach start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Newport Beach within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Newport Beach?

    +

Newport Beach runs year-round whale watching out of the harbour, duffy boat and sailing charters, Balboa Island walks and coastal e-bike rides toward Laguna. On Outty we rank every Newport Beach experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Escape Game: 60-Minute Adventures at Irvine Spectrum Center, Whale-Watching Cruise from Newport Beach, Electric Boat Rental in Newport Beach for Up to 12 People. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Newport Beach?

    +

December to April for grey whales, June to September for blue whales. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Newport Beach?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
