Two straight hours of eating it. Rode 0 waves. Not fun. I've snowboarded for years. Maybe surfing just isn't my thing. Don't know if the instructor was good or bad, as I dont know enough about surfing to be able to tell. I do know falling on every attempt for 2 straight hours totally sucks though.

The photographer reported that you just could not do it and that you lacked the basic fitness and co-ordination needed for surfing! You surfed with two other girls and both of them stood up many times they also rebooked another lesson because they loved it so much! We contacted you to get some feedback about the lesson and this was your reply - 'I doubt that was Dennis's or anyone on your staff's fault. He was encouraging the entire time. Probably just a lack ability on my part.' Dennis is one of the best coaches in the Kuta area with over 10 years of experience. No body can argue! We did everything right and we did our utmost best to help you! It's unfair that we received this review just because you wanted to vent your frustration at us because you couldn't standup. Especially when you did say it had to do with your lack of ability on your part!

A Must-Do Surf Experience in Seminyak
An absolutely amazing experience, definitely a must-do if you come to Seminyak. The instructors at this surf school gave extremely clear and helpful guidance, which made learning both fun and effective. One thing I really appreciated is that they offer multi-level courses, so if you genuinely want to learn how to surf properly and you stay for longer, this is the perfect place to do it.

Excellent.
I booked a 2 hour lesson with board rental. I did this several times. The facilities are good and the lesson and booking is easy and laid back. If you walk the beach you’ll see literally hundred’s of ‘surf schools’ non of these compare with Up2U.

Great surf lesson
I went to 2 different surf schools in Bali and this one was better and cheaper. Even though it was a group lesson, the groups were very small (only 2 other people with me) and the instructor catered to our differing abilities. The included photos were also a nice touch and were emailed to me later the same day.

Surfing for beginners
Really enjoyed my surf lesson with Chip at Up2U surf school. Easy to find as long as you follow the directions provided. Very friendly, a safe is available to store valuables. No shower or changing facilities so get ready before you arrive. The instructor was great fun, super friendly and we were standing up by halfway through the lesson. Surf was consistent and suitable for beginners like me!
