Just two great excursions

It was a wonderful experience with great people. Before we started, we were contacted by the organizer Sameh and the pickup time was coordinated, top-notch and very nice. The horseback ride took place with Amir and we rode through the desert to the sea. Our great photos from that day always bring back those wonderful memories. Since the first excursion was simply wonderful, we booked another horseback ride right away. What can I say, simply magnificently beautiful. A very clear recommendation and a nice experience. Many thanks to Sameh, Amir, and Sultan ☀️👌🏻

An amazing and unforgettable Trip!!!

If you want to make a magical trip on horseback, book this tour! It was great. I traveled alone and have never felt insecure at any time. The guide, Fox, immediately realized that I am an experienced rider and made the trip unforgettable for me. Galloping through the desert, on the beach, riding through the water plus great photos and videos as souvenirs. I can highly recommend this tour - it was so much fun. Thank you for this great experience! ❤️

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review! ❤️ We’re thrilled that your solo horseback adventure felt completely safe and magical from start to finish. Fox is delighted that he could tailor the ride to your experience level — galloping through the desert, along the beach, and right through the water must have been incredible! We’re so glad the photos and videos will help you relive those special moments. Thank you for trusting us with your trip and for the kind recommendation. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable ride someday!

Super nice riding trip

We had a wonderful trip. First we rode through the desert and then to the sea. There we were at sunset and one of the guides took super nice photos and videos and put in an extreme effort. You could ride fast or slow as you wanted and we were three people and three guides so everyone could set their pace. We would definitely recommend the trip! The pickup also worked without any problems and very punctually.

Response from the operator: Vielen Dank für Ihre schönen Worte, Ihre Empfehlung, Sie sind immer willkommen, wir wünschen Ihnen nochmals in unseren Pferdestall zu sehen und Ihnen die besten Services anzubieten. Schöner Urlaub und liebe grüße :)

Horseback riding in Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marsa Alam.

How much does Horseback riding in Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib cost?

+

Prices start at $31 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marsa Alam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Horseback riding in Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marsa Alam is not rushed.

Is Horseback riding in Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marsa Alam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Horseback riding in Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Horseback riding in Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Horseback riding in Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marsa Alam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marsa Alam and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Horseback riding in Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marsa Alam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marsa Alam?

+

On Outty we rank every Marsa Alam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Luxor Day Trip from Marsa alam (Private), Private Day Trip to Luxor from Marsa Alam and Valley of the Kings, Over Day Tour From Marsa Alam to Luxor. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marsa Alam?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marsa Alam?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
