    Amazing Amazing Amazing

This was our first trip to Jamaica and we had a million things we wanted to do, including horseback riding and rafting. We booked a rafting trip through another company but was canceled due to the weather. The next day we booked a horseback riding tour through Suzettes. Warren picked us up exactly on time and he was absolutely amazing. He told us that he could take us rafting when we explained what had happened the day before. Warren was an exceptional guide who made our plans a reality. He went above and beyond by taking us to get food, stopping at an ATM, and making sure we were happy and safe throughout our adventures. We plan on returning to Jamaica soon and will 100% use suzettes again and recommend them to anyone looking for amazing service to do the fun things available on the beautiful country.

    Great Experience

Suzette was great. She taught us alot on the ride, about Jamaica's history. She made sure we was comfortable and offered to stop along the way if we needed anything before we got back to the resort. She drove very safe and made it clear when we are together we are family and our safety comes first. She was definitely my favorite tour guide and would definitely recommend 10/10. Can't wait until our next trip, I will personally book with Suzette again

    10/10 and then some!

Our driver, Yanique, was amazing! She shared so much about the island culture and history and gave us tips for our trip. She was absolutely wonderful and I will absolutely call on her again when I return to Jamaica. Our guide for the horseback riding tour (Kevin) was also a great guy! He took photos and videos of the whole excursion for us and made us feel so welcome. Overall an absolutely wonderful experience!

Response from the operator: Thanks for your wonderful review

    Disappointed

The tour guides took lots of pictures for us using our phones, which was great! However, I was disappointed in the tour as a whole. I expected to spend more time riding. I did not expect the horse to be led by a guide on foot almost the entire time. We had a very short trek through the bushes to the beach and then quickly went in and out of the water. Then back the way we came and the your was over. I thought we would be riding with a group through the countryside before going into the water. I would not do this tour again.

    Little late but great

Excellent time. Driver and guides were excellent. A little concerned when they were 15 minutes late to pick us up but once we were on the way everything was great

Response from the operator: Sorry for been late,we will be early next time and thanks for the feedback.

Horseback Riding from Montego Bay: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Montego Bay.

How much does Horseback Riding from Montego Bay cost?

    +

Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Montego Bay usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Horseback Riding from Montego Bay take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Montego Bay is not rushed.

Is Horseback Riding from Montego Bay worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Montego Bay, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Horseback Riding from Montego Bay?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Horseback Riding from Montego Bay suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Horseback Riding from Montego Bay?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Montego Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Montego Bay and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Horseback Riding from Montego Bay start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Montego Bay within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Montego Bay?

    +

On Outty we rank every Montego Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Montego Bay Airport Transfer to Negril, Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Private Tour from Montego Bay, Appleton Estate Admission Ticket & Distillery Tour with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Montego Bay?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Montego Bay?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
