    Polo day

Our Polo day was amazing! We had a wonferdul time. All the team is so kind and cheerful. The food was really good and made at the moment. We were kind of nervous at the moment to play the match, but they made sure we could enjoy it without a problem. I highly recommend this experience!!

Amazing day with an outdoor ride, good food and lots of polo practice

I would highly recommend Argentina polo day! We were picked up from our hotel in Buenos Aires and after about an hour we were welcomed at the stables with a small breakfast. In the morning we did a 2 hour horseback ride. For the whole day we had 3 guides, Marcos, Bahador and Annika. They were really enthusiastic, made everyone feel comfortable on the horses and gave great advice for polo riding later that day. Also, they made really nice photos and videos for us. Some of us were experienced riders, some had no experience. Every rider was given a horse that matches their riding ability. The horses are very well trained and responsive. For me it was really nice to see that the horses themselves got along very well, so there was no specific order in which we should ride and we did not have to pay attention not getting too close to each other. Everyone in the group did great so soon we could trot and canter. We had a bbq lunch which was really nice. After lunch we did another 2 hour ride, this time to practice polo. Our guides brought many polo balls to the field so we could all get enough practice with hitting a ball. Afterwards, we did a polo match. This was great fun! The guides themselves are really good polo riders. We finished the day with ice cream at the stables. I really had an amazing day. As a horseback rider myself this was a very cool experience that I had never done before. I am sure next time I go back to Argentina I will come back to Argentina Polo day. Thanks a lot for this cool experience!

Response from the operator: Hi Joey, thanks for coming! Glad you enjoyed the ride, the polo and the asado. Marcos, Bahador and Annika will be happy to read this. We are immensely grateful that you took the time to write us these words Hope to see you again next time you’re in Argentina!

Horseback Riding and Polo in Buenos Aires: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.

How much does Horseback Riding and Polo in Buenos Aires cost?

    +

Prices start at $339 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Horseback Riding and Polo in Buenos Aires take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.

Is Horseback Riding and Polo in Buenos Aires worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 39 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Horseback Riding and Polo in Buenos Aires?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Horseback Riding and Polo in Buenos Aires suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Horseback Riding and Polo in Buenos Aires?

    +

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Horseback Riding and Polo in Buenos Aires start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?

    +

On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
