Memorable day in Barcelona
Truly a magical day, and I could go on and on. Marc picked us up promptly right in time. Then a scenic informative drive to the stables. Rode horses thru a beautiful vineyard and then to the Albeit winery. Delicious tapas and wine tasting.
Response from the operator: Dear John & Linda, thanks for your words!! The combination of scenic views, horseback riding through a vineyard, and a visit to the winery with is truly a magical experience. It’s moments like these that stay with you, making memories that are hard to forget. Best regards,

What a GREAT and relaxing tour!
My wife and I set out on a dream vacation to Europe. Our final 2 weeks were spent in Barcelona. Through our travel agent, we had randomly selected a vineyard tour on horseback followed by a winery tour and wine tasting with Barcelona By Road. Our driver, Marc, picked us up from our hotel near Placa de Catalunya promptly on schedule. He proceeded to drive us out into wine country. Along the way, he pointed out various points of interest and explained their significance in history or culture. He was a very engaging and infectous conversationalist and we could sense the deep pride he has for his country. While my wife and I rode horses through the vineyard, Marc waited patiently in the stable picnic area for us to return and then we all enjoyed a light snack and drink before proceeding to the winery. After the tour, we enjoyed a tasting and finally lunch before heading back to Barcelona. Barcelona By Road is an amazing and attentive premiere tour company!
Response from the operator: What a wonderful experience you and your wife had in Barcelona! So glad the vineyard tour was the perfect way to immerse yourselves in the beauty and culture of the region. Our aim was to offer you both insight and a personal touch that helped you connect more deeply with the history and landscape around you. Alos, the combination of horseback riding through the vineyard, the winery tour, and wine tasting were a relaxing and enjoyable way to experience the local flavors and scenery. Thanks so much!!

Don't wait, just book it.
Highly recommend to book a tour with Marc. This was by far the best activity we have done in the Barcelona area. Marc organized a Horseback riding tour and a vinary tour including local sourced lunch, which was absolutely fantastic. Marc took amazing care of us and we could sit back and relax the whole time.
Response from the operator: Hi Julia, we are grateful for you kind words. happy you guys enjoyed the horseback experience in the vineyards, likewise we did... Keep in touch & thanks a lot ;)

Why this scores 47
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Horseback Ride, Penedes, Wine Tasting & Tapas Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Horseback Ride, Penedes, Wine Tasting & Tapas Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $544 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Horseback Ride, Penedes, Wine Tasting & Tapas Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Horseback Ride, Penedes, Wine Tasting & Tapas Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Horseback Ride, Penedes, Wine Tasting & Tapas Private Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Horseback Ride, Penedes, Wine Tasting & Tapas Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Horseback Ride, Penedes, Wine Tasting & Tapas Private Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Horseback Ride, Penedes, Wine Tasting & Tapas Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
