Honeymoon Tuscan horseride.
We wanted to have a horseriding adventure on our honeymoon. Simona & Marco were fantastic, they made us feel comfortable & safe during this whole experience. Simona was very passionate and proud of her Country and we discussed everything from horses to football, food and the language. The horseriding was fantastic in the Tuscan hillside, going through streams & other scenic places. Our horses were beautiful. We were taken after the ride to experience real Tuscan cuisine which was wonderful. Highly recommend this experience and we will return.
Response from the operator: Dear Gemma and Mark, you'll be highly welcome again for new adventures and more gourmet food with us on the rolling hills of Florence. Thank you for your super review. Ciao, Simona and Marco

Loved horseback riding through Tuscany!
I booked this tour for my friend Anna & I during our study abroad trip over the summer. We loved every minute of it! It was so peaceful & everyone was kind & helpful. Ms. Simona contacted me through Whatsapp with the make, model, license plate, & name of our driver, Mr. Marco prior to our pick up time in Florence. He had the A/C blowing (we are Texans so it felt great), & drove us to the site to ride horses. Everyone on the property was kind, they had restrooms & water, we signed waivers, mounted our horses (with help), & were guided on how to ride. Our horses took it slow & easy, even saw another cowboy riding & behaved gently. Mr. Luca was our guide through the Tuscan countryside. He took great pictures of us too!! We rode for about 1.5 hours back to where we were dropped off. Mr. Marco was there ready to take us to lunch. We had a 3 course meal & split our dessert because we were so full. It came with wine from Chianti & the charcuterie board (see pics) was delicious. Mr. Marco drove us back to our pick up place in Florence. We felt safe the entire time & genuinely enjoyed it. It was the best part of my trip to Florence (first time there) & as a Black woman from Texas I would hands down recommend this tour to everyone!!! My paw paw was a cowboy, but I hadn't been horseback since I was toddler (weary of getting on anyone else's horses besides his). These horses are well trained. I know it's pricey, but do it. You won't regret it!!!
Response from the operator: Dear girls, we are very proud of your review pointing out your feeling of safety on horseback, your appreciation of the lunch and satisfaction of our whole service. We wish you to be able to come back from Texas for more beautiful experiences with our team. Kind rgds, Simona

Amazing Rich Tuscany Experience!
What an incredible experience! Simona was an amazing host! Went above and beyond. Knew so much about Italy and gave incredible recommendations for activities beyond our event. The horseback riding was excellent! Better than expected. We are beginners and had a blast! Learned so much about how to ride and how they take care of the stable. We rode in the Tuscan hills (amazing views) for about an hour then headed over by car to an incredible gourmet experience, where I had the best charcuterie board of my life, delicious wine, and more! All this with an amazing view of the sun setting over Florence Duomo complex amongst the Tuscan hills in the distance. This experience is a must!
Response from the operator: Dear guests, we are so happy that you felt safe and enjoyed the landscape and learned something about horses and riding by our trail ride. We really hope we'll have more chances in future to get you in the saddle again and get you taste new local dishes and wines of our tradition. Very kind regards, Simona

Chianti horseback adventure
Words can not describe this experience from the outset you are treated like royalty. The wonderful Simone picked us up from town we rendezvoused with the awesome Marco who drove us to the picturesque farm where we met Luca our guide. He led us on an hour-long ride where we saw things that had previously only been in our minds. As if this wasn't enough they then took us to the most wonderful restaurant with amazing views, after all this, they returned us back to town. This is a must-do experience with wonderful people, food, and views that will knock your socks off.
Response from the operator: Dear guests, your review knocks our socks off :-))) For sure it will draw many new tourists' attention to our tours! Thank you and come back, we'll be honored to welcome you again. Simona

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Horseback ride and gourmet cuisine in a historic food shop: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Horseback ride and gourmet cuisine in a historic food shop cost?
+
Prices start at $268 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Horseback ride and gourmet cuisine in a historic food shop take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Horseback ride and gourmet cuisine in a historic food shop worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Horseback ride and gourmet cuisine in a historic food shop?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Horseback ride and gourmet cuisine in a historic food shop suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Horseback ride and gourmet cuisine in a historic food shop?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Horseback ride and gourmet cuisine in a historic food shop start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
