Best time EVER!!!!
This was an epic experience. Peter was an exceptional host, energetic, entertaining, and always mindful that we all were having a good time, comfortable and safe choosing horses appropriate for skill level. He was always positive and knowledgeable on the history of the land. Riders with more experience were given opportunities to use their skills while keeping the less experienced riders in their comfort zone and keeping the group together as a whole. All of us enjoyed our time immeasurably. We couldn’t have had a better time! We talked about how fun it was all day. If you want the experience of the Irish countryside and hospitality on the back of a horse this is the one for you!!!!!

Ireland dream ride
Peter is INCREDIBLE! I can’t stress that enough. He was interactive and encouraging, helpful and full of life. His banter with all of us Americans was off the charts. His knowledge of the horses and his land was top notch. Not to mention how beautiful and FUN the ride was. Those are some well taken care of horses. The price was perfect for the amount of time. We had a small group of 6 of us. It was perfect in every way. Best and favorite ride I’ve ever experienced! Can’t wait to come back again.

One of the highlights of our Ireland trip!
Our family absolutely loved this experience and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland! Peter was so warm, friendly, and funny, and his experience and genuine care for the horses was apparent from the moment we arrived. He did a wonderful job matching everyone with the right horse, checking in throughout the ride, and making sure everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of. Our group had different riding comfort levels, and I especially appreciated how Peter handled that. He organized us based on comfort level when appropriate, so those who wanted a more relaxed ride could enjoy themselves while the more comfortable riders got several opportunities to canter. Cantering through the wooded paths was such a rush and something I’ll remember forever! The horses were wonderful, clearly well cared for, and the trails and surrounding countryside were absolutely beautiful and serene. It was the perfect combination of peaceful scenery and a little adventure. Peter really made the experience special. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area, even if your group has mixed riding abilities. Completely worth the price and an experience we would happily do again!

The best time!
My friend and I had a wonderful experience. Peter took care of everything for us upon arriving. As it being my first time on a horse, he made sure I knew what I needed to do. During the ride, we saw very beautiful areas. Peter made sure everything was going as smooth as it could and as a whole made the experience better. I would 100% recommend this to anyone I know. When I’m back in Ireland and close to the area, I would come again!! Thank you for such an enjoyable moment!!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Galway.
How much does Horse riding - Mountain Trail. Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare. Guided. 2 hours. cost?
+
Prices start at $151 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Galway usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Horse riding - Mountain Trail. Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare. Guided. 2 hours. take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Galway is not rushed.
Is Horse riding - Mountain Trail. Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare. Guided. 2 hours. worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 43 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Galway, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Horse riding - Mountain Trail. Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare. Guided. 2 hours.?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Horse riding - Mountain Trail. Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare. Guided. 2 hours. suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Horse riding - Mountain Trail. Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare. Guided. 2 hours.?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Galway can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Galway and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Horse riding - Mountain Trail. Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare. Guided. 2 hours. start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Galway within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Galway?
+
On Outty we rank every Galway experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cliffs of Moher & the Burren Tour from Galway, Galway to Aran Islands Inisheer, Doolin, Cliffs of Moher Day Tour, 12:00 Cliffs of Moher Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Galway?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Galway?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
