Awesome bucket list experience
We actually did this tour in May 2022 but I don't see it so I wanted to redo the review. Arturo was awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed him, the horses and the trail we followed to the beach where we rode through the water. My wife had grown up with horses so this was a bucket list item for her. As part of the tour we stopped for a cute lunch at a local's home. I highly recommend this tour! My son plans to sign up for it this spring when he visits the DR.

Beautiful Views, Wonderful Horses, and a Glimpse at the “Real” DR!
This excursion was one of the highlights of our week in the DR! We were picked up and dropped back off right at the lobby of our resort. After a little bit of a ride, the horses were ready for us, starting in the city streets, then past cattle pastures, and next to the beach. We weren’t directly on the water because of the soft sand and the slope, but the trail was as close as you can get! Seeing what real life is like there outside the resort was eye-awakening and extremely interesting to me. They had horses with different personalities that suited our riding skills, and though I started on a lazy one (Sorry, Caramelo!), I was able to switch halfway through to one more to my liking (Thanks, Moro!). We took a break at the halfway point, where they cut open coconuts for us to drink the water and then eat. It also gave the horses a rest. The only negative for us is that we did pay for a private tour and someone else tagged along because something happened that she couldn’t be a part of her group tour. She was new to riding, and the reason we picked a private tour was so that we could go at our own pace. But it was nice of them to fit her in rather than cancel her tour. I would highly recommend this excursion and I thank Arturo for sharing his horses with us!

This was my favorite riding excursion. Arturo took my husband and I riding on the beach. It was an amazing day that I will cherish forever. I own horses and typically don't like riding at riding stables. BUT this was truly a special ride....One of my favorites of all times and I have ridden all over.... Iceland,,,Ireland....and Costa Rica....We also ate some real Dominican Food which was delicious which was served at a local Dominican family's house.....We also enjoyed riding thru the local town.......At the end of the ride Arturo bought my husband a beer.....which made him very happy......I got to take some amazing photos thru out our ride.....I am definitely riding again with Arturo when we go back to Punta Cana....Thanks Arturo.....I have a huge smile on my face.......Ill never forget our beach ride with you!

Outstanding horse back riding tour
This tour was the highlight of our trip! My wife grew up with horses and always wanted to ride them on a beach. I did not have riding experience with horses. Our guide Arturo was OUTSTANDING as he met both of our needs and made for a great experience for both of us. Without hesitation I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour for anyone who wants to experience the Dominican Republic countryside away from tourist areas.

Arturo is really the best tour guide a had (and there were a lot;)). The landscape is beautiful and peaceful, if you want to be besides crowded tourism and have a great time, you are right here!
