What you'll see and do

1. A spectacular arch dam surrounded by steep, dramatic gorge walls. It is one of Hokkaido's most famous scenic spots, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding pristine forests. Since Hoheikyo Dam is inaccessible by regular vehicles, we will park at the designated parking area and walk for about 25 minutes to reach the dam. If you find walking difficult, you have the option to take the exclusive shuttle bus, which operates twice an hour.

2. Jozankei Onsen

   A historic and popular hot spring resort town nestled in a picturesque valley. Enjoy free time here to grab a local lunch at your own expenses, explore the charming streets, or relax at a free public footbath.

3. Kokuei Takino Suzuran Hillside National Park

   Hokkaido's only national government park. It boasts expansive, beautifully manicured gardens, striking seasonal flowers, and impressive waterfalls nestled in a lush environment.

4. Lake Shikotsu

   A serene lakeside area situated on the shores of Lake Shikotsu, a majestic volcanic caldera lake famous for its incredible depth and crystal-clear, highly transparent waters. The lakeside is ideal for a relaxing walk with some light refreshments. Along the path, you will encounter the historic, red-painted Yamasen Iron Bridge. The stunning contrast between the blue water, the crimson bridge, the tinted autumn leaves, and the scenic sky creates the perfect setting for a truly memorable photo.
