Professional, Flexible, and Truly Personal Service
This team is world-class! They tailored a perfect itinerary for us and were incredibly flexible with our last-minute changes. We spent 3 incredible days with Tommy and his team, we did the Da Nang city tour including Marble Mountain, a private Ba Na Hills tour and the Hoi An tour including the coconut boat ride and Memories show which was beautiful. Tommy gave us expert recommendations to local tailors and leather stores, we love our custom clothes and shoes from their recommended local artisans! Tommy's drivers were so professional and the thoughtful touches like cold water and towels in the heat, was very much appreciated. The tour guudes Jaho and Tien made our trip. They are knowledgeable, funny, and Jaho took some incredible photos of us. We’re leaving with beautiful memories and will definitely be back with our family for more adventures!
Response from the operator: Dear Lisa and Jay, Thank you so much for your amazing and heartfelt review! It was truly our pleasure to spend these wonderful 3 days with you and help create special memories in Da Nang, Ba Na Hills, and Hoi An. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the customized itinerary, the flexibility of our team, and all the experiences along the way — especially the coconut boat ride, Hoi An Memories Show, and your shopping experience with our trusted local tailors and leather artisans. Your kind words about our drivers and guides, Jaho and Tien, mean a lot to us. They will be so happy to know they helped make your trip memorable with their knowledge, humor, and photography skills! Thank you again for trusting Tommy and the team. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you and your family back to Central Vietnam for more adventures in the future! Warm regards, Tommy & Team

Hoi An Foodie Tour with Minh
Communications with Tommy was easy. Guide Minh met us at hotel and was able to adjust pace to suit mum and me. He told us the history of Hoi An as well as how Danang has changed over the years. Marble Mountain was manageable with the elevator for someone with arthritis. The first cave and temple is enough, for the adventurous, one can venture further. Tried the Bahn Mi shop within Hoi A made famous by Anthony Bourdain.
Response from the operator: Dear Ms Wee Ei, Thank you so much for your lovely review! I’m really happy to hear that everything was easy to arrange and that Quang Linh took great care of you and your mum. Adjusting the pace to make the trip comfortable is always very important to us. Glad you enjoyed Marble Mountains and that the elevator made it more accessible—and of course, the famous Bánh Mì in Hội An is always a must-try. Thank you again for choosing Tommy Dao Tours. Wishing you both all the best and hope to see you again in Vietnam! 🇻🇳

Professional guide and transport
We went with Tommy for two of his tours and his guides are all licensed and highly professional. Command of English was good and were able to communicate effectively. For this tour, we had Kong with us. He is highly knowledgeable and shared with us many interesting bits of information. He also brought us to the famous Hoi-an Banh Mi place for dinner. Transport was clean, comfortable and everything was very well organized. Thanks Tommy!
Response from the operator: Dear Kay, Thank you so much for choosing our company for all private tours and transportations. We are based on Da Nang and Hoi An, and Hue and able to know our products so well. Our guide is well trained and driver is experienced to make your day perfect. Looking forward to welcoming you back one day! Tommy

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Hoi An Walking Tour, Sampan Boat Trip , Foodie Tour by Night: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.
How much does Hoi An Walking Tour, Sampan Boat Trip , Foodie Tour by Night cost?
+
Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Hoi An Walking Tour, Sampan Boat Trip , Foodie Tour by Night take?
+
Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.
Is Hoi An Walking Tour, Sampan Boat Trip , Foodie Tour by Night worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Hoi An Walking Tour, Sampan Boat Trip , Foodie Tour by Night?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Hoi An Walking Tour, Sampan Boat Trip , Foodie Tour by Night suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Hoi An Walking Tour, Sampan Boat Trip , Foodie Tour by Night?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Hoi An Walking Tour, Sampan Boat Trip , Foodie Tour by Night start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Da Nang?
+
On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Da Nang?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Da Nang?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
