Really recommend the Hoi An Countryside Bike tour
We took the Hoi An Countryside Bike Tour and we really enjoyed the trip. The ride itself didn’t require any effort and we had multiple stops on the way to see and learn things (and to get refreshments). From history to how life and work looked like in the nearby villages. We learnt how rice was used, how to make noodles from them, how they worshipped their dead, how to make your own carpet and create your own amulet. Our guide was very friendly and eager (and happy) to guide us. We were a small party of only 3 persons and thus we got time to ask him about life and history in general. It was really one of our favorite tours on our trip to Vietnam, next to a cooking class we had the day before. Really recommend this tour.

Andy made us fall in love with Hoi An!
Booking the Hoi An tour with Andy was a fantastic decision. We booked a three-day private tour of Hoi An including My Son, Marble Mountains and Hue. We got the best service at a competitive price (compared to other group tours) A huge shout out to our wonderful guide, Ms. Dan and our driver Mr. Chi for their excellent service. Andy's team had a unique itinerary compared to the other tours I researched. First, we went to the coconut jungle and enjoyed a basket boat ride. During the boat ride, we tried our hand at fishing for crabs - it's harder than it looks (we sent the crabs back to the water after taking pictures) it was a unique experience. Next, we went to a lantern making class, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We got to take the lanterns we made back home - what a lovely souvenir. Following this, we went to the local vegetable farm and helped the local gardeners plant some vegetables. She was jovial and lively even in the scorching climate. We were glad to receive some gardening tips from Ms. Dan and the local gardener. The tour included lunch which was simply amazing. We went to a vegan restaurant for lunch and tried a plethora of Vietnamese delicacies. I'm sure the taste of these yummy dishes will linger on our tongues for a long time. After lunch, we went to the pottery village and tried our hand at traditional pottery. It was a fabulous experience. My five year old daughter enjoyed making a pot and painting it. We were pleasantly surprised to receive terracotta gifts as a part of our ticket. After the pottery village, we went to the magnificent Hoi An ancient town. Our guide Ms Dan told us many stories and legends about this mesmerizing place which will stay with us for a long time. The boat ride alongside the colorful lanterns was the perfect grand finale for the tour. Andy doesn't just make you experience Hoi An, he makes you fall in love with it. I highly recommend booking this tour with Andy.

FANTASTIC Tour of the Village
Fantastic tour. Got to see some wonderful places and hands on experience with pottery and the gardens. The buffalo ride was great. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was full of knowledge and very helpful as the heat got to me this day. Restaurant food was delicious. I think the highlight of the day was the round boats. You won’t want to miss this tour.

What a lovely way to get an insight into the historical aspects of the old town whilst combining it with a tourist shop Mr Kong our tour guide speaks exceptional English- was extremely patient with explaining things to young kids and did a good job at bartering for us. He tailored the trip to suit us and what we wanted to experience

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Hoi An Village Experience & Hoi An City Tour with Night Market: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hoi An.
How much does Hoi An Village Experience & Hoi An City Tour with Night Market cost?
+
Prices start at $128 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hoi An usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Hoi An Village Experience & Hoi An City Tour with Night Market take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hoi An is not rushed.
Is Hoi An Village Experience & Hoi An City Tour with Night Market worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hoi An, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Hoi An Village Experience & Hoi An City Tour with Night Market?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Hoi An Village Experience & Hoi An City Tour with Night Market suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Hoi An Village Experience & Hoi An City Tour with Night Market?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hoi An can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hoi An and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Hoi An Village Experience & Hoi An City Tour with Night Market start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hoi An within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hoi An?
+
On Outty we rank every Hoi An experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HOI AN Hidden Gems in Rural Villages & River Islands PRIVATE TOUR, Coconut Jungle Eco & Hoi An City Tour With Boat Ride, Cooking Class Hoi An:Local Market, Basket Boat, Fishing & Cooking. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hoi An?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hoi An?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
