A Delicious and Authentic Hoi An Food Experience with Nguyen
My dad and I had such a great street food tour in Hoi An with Nguyen. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and really passionate about the local food and the stories behind each dish. She shared interesting details about the history, traditions, and how the different foods are prepared, which made the experience much more enjoyable. We tried a fantastic variety of local specialties, including the famous 130-year-old White Rose dumplings (Bánh Bao), water fern cakes, Hoi An chicken rice, translucent and wedding dumplings, and delicious black sesame soup. We also visited Ba Le Well, where Nguyen explained its connection to Hoi An’s traditional cuisine, and explored the Central Market, including Ms. Hai’s famous stall, once visited by Anthony Bourdain. If you’re looking for an authentic way to discover Hoi An through its food and culture, I’d definitely recommend a tour with Nguyen. She made the whole evening fun, delicious, and memorable.
