Wastes hours going to shops on the way to and back from Ba Na

We should have known from the price that there was something off about this tour. They force you to go to stores for shopping trips. They tried to pass them off as “short breaks” but it was really a forced shopping tour. The first is a pearl farm where they had a 30 minute long wait and presentation on pearls which no one is interested in and tried to sell overpriced jewelry and necklaces. We had to be ready around 7am and didn’t get to Ba Na until 11am due to these unnecessary stops. Then on the way back they bring you to a dry goods store and make you walk through the entire maze of products. We didn’t get home until 6:30pm. Such a waste of time. Don’t let them try to con you into thinking these are bathroom or water breaks. They are not. They are very clearly getting commissions from peddling tourists to these scam stores.

Response from the operator: We’re sorry the experience did not meet your expectations. However, it seems there may have been some misunderstanding regarding the tour option you selected. The package you booked clearly includes shopping/rest stops along the route, which is why the price is lower compared to tours that skip these stops and go directly to Ba Na Hills. These stops are part of the itinerary and are not mandatory purchasing points. Guests are free to browse, rest, use the facilities, or simply wait without buying anything. Many travelers choose this option because it is more budget-friendly. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to make the tour experience clearer and more comfortable for future guests.

Wastes valuable time going to unwanted shopping stops!! Stay away!

They waste your time taking you to many shops! They were very vague on the schedule and did not inform us of these stops ahead of time so we had no choice when booking. They take you to a pearl shop on the way to Ba Na which wasted a whole hour. By the time we got to Ba Na we were already weary and the crowds were heavy then. On the way back they take you to another shop with overpriced goods. We were so exhausted by the end of the day that we just wanted to get back to our hotel. It all seems very shady and they get kickbacks from the shops for bringing tourists but it ruins the entire day!

Response from the operator: Dear guest, We’re sorry to hear that you felt dissatisfied with the experience. However, there seems to have been some misunderstanding regarding the itinerary. Our guide did clearly inform the group about the schedule and meeting points throughout the tour. During parts of the trip, some guests were resting, using headphones, or separated from the guide, which may have caused them to miss some announcements. Regarding the stops mentioned, the tour did not include mandatory shopping stops. The short stop on the way back was only around 5–7 minutes for guests to buy water or use the restroom after a long day at Ba Na Hills. Guests were completely free to participate or remain on the vehicle. We also understand that Ba Na Hills can become crowded and tiring during peak hours, especially in hot weather, and we truly appreciate your feedback. We will continue improving our communication to ensure a smoother experience for all guests. Thank you for your understanding.

Great experience with Dimotrip

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my experience with Dimotrip in Da Nang. I used their services before, like, last year maybe? And I gotta say, it was pretty good. The whole trip they planned for me was smooth, and I saw some really cool stuff. Like, the Marble Mountains and Ba Na Hills were awesome! Everything was organized okay, the transport was comfy enough, and the guides knew their stuff. One thing I really liked was the sales person I talked to. Super nice and kind. Whenever I had a question or needed help with something, they were always there to support me. Really appreciated that! Made the whole booking process easy. So yeah, if you're looking for a tour company in Da Nang, I'd say give Dimotrip a try. They seem like a good bunch, and they looked after me well. Might have a few small things here and there that weren't perfect, but overall, a solid experience. Thanks Dimotrip!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for chosing Dimotrip on your trip. See you again in the near future in Viet Nam

Hoi An/ Da Nang - Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge Daily Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.

How much does Hoi An/ Da Nang - Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge Daily Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hoi An/ Da Nang - Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge Daily Tour take?

+

Plan for about 8.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.

Is Hoi An/ Da Nang - Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge Daily Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hoi An/ Da Nang - Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge Daily Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Hoi An/ Da Nang - Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge Daily Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Hoi An/ Da Nang - Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge Daily Tour?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 8.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hoi An/ Da Nang - Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge Daily Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Da Nang?

+

On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Da Nang?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Da Nang?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
