We enjoyed sampling...

We enjoyed sampling different types of Vietnamese food with Jun our guide. She did her best with the trip as during the tour there was a storm. The night market is a fun place to wander around in.

Hoi An Night Life and Floating Lanterns

This was our free day on the tour, and we spent it exploring the ancient town markets, wandering through vibrant stalls, buying souvenirs and soaking in the charm of Hội An. As the sun set, the town transformed - and suddenly, we found ourselves living inside a scene straight out of Disney’s Tangled. It genuinely felt like stepping into a fairytale. The highlight of the evening was the floating lanterns that illuminated the Thu Bồn River. As night fell, hundreds of colourful lanterns drifted gently across the water, casting shimmering reflections that danced beneath the historic bridges. The riverbanks glowed with warm light from lantern shops, each one displaying handcrafted designs in every colour imaginable. Locals and travellers gathered along the water, releasing lanterns with quiet wishes, creating a magical atmosphere that felt both intimate and celebratory. The soft glow, the gentle movement of the river and the hum of music and laughter made the entire experience unforgettable - romantic, peaceful and deeply symbolic of Hội An’s cultural soul. It was a night that captured everything special about Hội An Ancient Town - beauty, tradition, community and a touch of magic. A perfect way to spend a day to ourselves.

Bandya mama - Hoi An has been through a few centuries of history.

Unlike the dynamic Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An Old Town seems to aside from the busy development of the country, remaining its ancient beauty from its roads to its architectural works. About 30km south of Da Nang city, and roughly 120 km from Hue, Hoi An old town is really a great place to really get up close and personal with the real Vietnam, her people and past as well.

The village that won over the heart

An absolute must visit, one of a kind experience, which I feel is very difficult to get and the market and food was awesome here.

How long does Hoi An Ancient Town - Night Market Street Food Tours By Night take?

+

Is Hoi An Ancient Town - Night Market Street Food Tours By Night worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 167 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hoi An, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hoi An Ancient Town - Night Market Street Food Tours By Night?

Is Hoi An Ancient Town - Night Market Street Food Tours By Night suitable for kids and families?

+

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hoi An and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hoi An?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hoi An?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
