2. The Independence Palace

3. Notre-Dame Cathedral & Saigon Central Post Office. These two neighboring landmarks perfectly capture the city’s French colonial heritage. The Notre-Dame Cathedral, built with imported French bricks and materials, stands as an architectural centerpiece of Old Saigon. While the cathedral’s interior is currently under restoration, its exterior remains a top photo spot thanks to its twin bell towers and striking neo-Romanesque design. Just across the square is the historic Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel. Inside you’ll find a beautifully preserved curved-ceiling hall with vintage phone booths, original maps, local artisan stalls, and a charmingly nostalgic atmosphere.    Ben Thanh Market. One of Ho Chi Minh City’s most recognizable symbols, Ben Thanh Market is the perfect place to get a snapshot of local daily life. Short, curated visits work best, giving travelers time to browse, take photos, and absorb the vibrant atmosphere without getting overwhelmed by the maze-like layout. It’s also an excellent place to see how both locals and travelers converge in one of the city’s busiest commercial landmarks.

The Opera House features elegant Beaux-Arts design, intricate sculptures, and a beautifully maintained façade, while the nearby City Hall shines as one of the city’s most photographed structures, especially at night when its yellow façade glows warmly.
