2. Cu Chi Tunnels

   Known as the “iron land” during the struggle for national liberation, the Cu Chi Tunnels are one of the largest and most complex tunnel systems in the world. This underground city, which withstood bombs and relentless gunfire, demonstrates the resilience and unwavering determination of the people and soldiers who lived and fought here. At the Cu Chi Tunnels, you will witness the remnants of war firsthand, experience the ingenuity and perseverance required to survive in such harsh conditions. As you explore this remarkable site, you will hear stories and witness evidence of war, immerse yourself in history and gain a deeper understanding of the fierce struggles that took place. This tour allows you to experience a slice of wartime life, providing an insight into the ferocity and endurance that defined this period. After the tunnels, we’ll stop for a lunch of local Vietnamese cuisine before heading back Ho Chi Minh

3. The Independence Palace

   The Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, is a key historical site in Ho Chi Minh City. Built in the 1960s, it was the residence and workplace of South Vietnam’s presidents. On April 30, 1975, tanks entered its gates, marking the end of the Vietnam War. Today, visitors can explore its preserved meeting rooms, reception halls, and artifacts, making it a place to learn about Vietnam’s history and reunification.

4. War Remnants Museum

   The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City powerfully documents the harsh realities of the Vietnam War and its impact on the Vietnamese people. Its exhibitions feature stark photographs, many from US sources, showing the war’s devastation, including the effects of napalm and Agent Orange. The museum also displays international anti-war posters, experimental weapons, and the Requiem Exhibition, honoring photographers who died during the conflict, making it a profound place for reflection on the costs of war.

5. Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon

   The Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, built by the French between 1877 and 1880, is a key landmark in Ho Chi Minh City. Featuring Roman and Gothic architecture with two 58-meter bell towers and red brick walls, the cathedral is known for its beautiful stained glass and serene interior, making it a popular historical and cultural site in Saigon.

6. Saigon Central Post Office

   The Saigon Central Post Office, built by the French from 1886 to 1891, is a historic landmark in Ho Chi Minh City. Near Notre Dame Cathedral, it features Neoclassical architecture with Gothic and Renaissance touches, a vaulted interior, and old city map murals. After your visit, our car will take you back to the hotel to end the tour.
