    Excellent introduction to Peace Park.

The evening tour (4:30pm) was much less crowded and the lights were beautiful. A great way to learn about the events of August 6, 1945.

Hiroshima Peace Park tour with Kozai

The tour is nicely paced and informative and takes in all of the main monuments around the peace park - with the exception of the museum which needs a separate coat from a time standpoint. The guide’s explanations were measured and frank, and he was clearly very proud of his city and its response to the events of the war. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour depute the tragic context and found it a very positive experience, despite being harrowing at times.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! Our Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park historical walking tour is thoughtfully designed to provide a measured, well-paced overview of the city's key monuments while leaving you with a deeper appreciation of its inspiring resilience following the events of WWII. We completely agree that touring the surrounding monuments and exploring the museum require separate blocks of time, and we are so glad this guided approach gave you a profoundly positive, informative experience outside. The entire team at M2N Tours is honored by your feedback! When you are ready to book another day trip during your holiday in Japan, we would love to welcome you at the Hiroshima Station Shinkansen exit for our popular Miyajima small group tour from Hiroshima Station to discover the region's beautiful island traditions. — The M2N Tours Team

    +

Around 38 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hiroshima?

How many days do you need in Hiroshima?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
