After meetup with our guide at your hotel or train station, you move to Miyajima by local train and ferry. At Itsukushima shrine, you will be impressed by beautiful and calm atmosphere. A wonderful trip to Miyajima, all thanks to Eiji!
We have been so lucky to have Eiji as our tour guide. Possibly the best tour we’ve ever taken
An absolutely perfect tour. Joe was one of the best guides we’ve ever had…he was warm and friendly and knowledgeable and funny. A truly warm and nice person. His insights were amazing…he kept us on schedule and hitting trains, ferries and buses right on time with no wait. He knew the best path to the best seats on the ferry and shortcuts away from the crowds throughout. He had incredible knowledge and knew the sites as a lifelong resident. He had scores of pictures on his laptop and pulled them up to show all sorts of history and photos. He worked at the museum for 5 years, so knew all the history and photos and personal stories of everyone. An amazing way to learn the history. He even gave us each a nice gift at the end. We connected in a great way and we (my wife, son and me) were sorry to see the tour end. Joe is that great of a guide. Highly, highly recommend. Five stars!!!
