Fantastic hike to the El Gouz summit with Azul Excursions

Last week I hiked to the El Gouz summit, guided by Jorfi of Azul Excursions. It is one of the best hikes I have done (and I hike a lot). The valley and paths are so quiet and peaceful, we only saw one other small group of people the whole time we were walking. The scenery is fantastic. It is as described - challenging, but manageable for those who walk regularly for long distances on uneven surfaces. Jorfi is extremely knowledgeable, intelligent and great company, we chatted about everything! I totally recommend Azul ~Excursions and will definitely book other hikes when I'm back in Morocco again.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 🙏 It was a real pleasure having you with us on the El Gouz Summit hike. We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed the peaceful trails, beautiful scenery, and the challenge of the hike. It was also a pleasure sharing the trail and having such great conversations along the way! 🥾⛰️ Your kind words about Jorfi truly mean a lot to us. We’ll be very happy to welcome you back to Morocco and take you on more adventures with Azul Excursions. Until then, happy hiking! 🌿🇲🇦

    Unforgettable experience

From The Experience Hike & Berber Culture, we got much more than we expected. This was our third time using our guide, Jorfi. He is a well-educated local Berber who guided us last year through Paradise Valley on the first day. After a long walk through breathtaking scenery, we spent time with a local family, experiencing their way of life and sharing a delicious tajine. On the second day, we went sand surfing in the Timlalin dunes, watched the sunset, enjoyed Moroccan tea and snacks prepared by Jorfi next to a cozy fireplace in nature. This year, we asked him to design a different trip to explore new places. Once again, we had an unforgettable experience—this time in the Atlas Mountains. We visited stunning waterfalls and even had the chance to dive and swim in a beautiful mountain pool. Later, we visited another local family, where we enjoyed traditional tajine and homemade snacks. We highly recommend him to others. Without a doubt, we will ask him to guide us again on our next trip!

A little piece of paradise in Paradise Valley

We had a great day with Jorfi and his driver. Everything was great. Tour of the botanical garden with detailed explanation of the making of argan oil. Swimming in Paradise Valley. Mint tea in a place out of nowhere. Tajine with a Berber family with a visit to their home and lifestyle. Today made us even more imble. Thank you, Jorfi, for passing on some of your culture. This day will remain a great holiday memory. You will understand that we recommend Jorfi 200%. Nathalie and Eric

Paradise day between swimming and walking, lunch with an adorable Berber family

Great day organized by Jorfi. Second “tailor-made” day between discovering the most beautiful beaches north of Agadir, grilling fresh fish and sunset in the desert facing the sea. Go ahead with your eyes closed.

Response from the operator: Merci ❤️🙏🏽

Hiking ,Swiming , and Lunch with Berber family in paradise valley: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Agadir.

How much does Hiking ,Swiming , and Lunch with Berber family in paradise valley cost?

    +

Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Agadir usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hiking ,Swiming , and Lunch with Berber family in paradise valley take?

    +

Plan for about 7.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Agadir is not rushed.

Is Hiking ,Swiming , and Lunch with Berber family in paradise valley worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Agadir, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hiking ,Swiming , and Lunch with Berber family in paradise valley?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Hiking ,Swiming , and Lunch with Berber family in paradise valley suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Hiking ,Swiming , and Lunch with Berber family in paradise valley?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Agadir can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Agadir and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hiking ,Swiming , and Lunch with Berber family in paradise valley start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Agadir within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Agadir?

    +

On Outty we rank every Agadir experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Paradise Valley and Atlas Mountains Adventure in Agadir, 4x4 Jeep Safari in Agadir Mini Sahara and Berber Lunch, Agadir City Tour & Cable Car Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Agadir?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Agadir?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Hiking ,Swiming , and Lunch with Berber family in paradise valley?
