First class professionalism, deep historical knowledge combined with kind thoughtful guides and well planned tours.

Realistic Asia put together an incredible and memorable trip using Hanoi as home base and traveling to Sapa, Ninh Binh and Halong Bay. Our tour guide (T) and driver (Mike) were two of the sweetest, knowledgeable and kindest people we have ever met. It was a first class experience from tour to car to hotel with every detail though through. The tours were full of historical insights and fascinating information. When the week was over we were sad to say goodbye to our new friends. I can’t say enough about the level of care and professionalism this company puts into selecting its people and the amazing experiences it produces.

Response from the operator: Dear David, Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are truly delighted to hear that your journey through Hanoi, Sapa, Ninh Binh, and Halong Bay was such a memorable one. It means a great deal to know that every aspect of your trip met your expectations. Your kind words about T and Mike are especially appreciated. They are passionate about sharing the beauty, history, and culture of Vietnam, and we will be sure to pass along your compliments to them. Thank you once again for choosing Realistic Asia. It was our pleasure to be part of your adventure, and we hope to welcome you back to Southeast Asia for another unforgettable journey in the future. Realistic Asia team

Amazing trip to Hanoi Saba, Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay

From the very beginning, working with this travel agency was an outstanding experience. Every question was answered promptly, and the attention to detail and follow-up were exceptional. They put together an incredible trip that exceeded our expectations. Our guide, T, was absolutely fantastic. His English was excellent, his knowledge of Vietnam’s history and culture was impressive, and he made every stop come alive with fascinating stories. He took wonderful care of us, quickly handled any small issues that arose, and his energy and sense of humor made the entire journey even more enjoyable. Our driver, Mike, was equally outstanding. He spoke excellent English and provided true VIP service. After every activity, he was waiting with our air-conditioned car, ready to open the door and make sure we were comfortable. Every detail was handled seamlessly. This was a first-class experience from start to finish, and I would highly recommend this agency to anyone planning a trip to Vietnam.

Response from the operator: Dear Sonya, Thank you so much for your wonderful review and recommendation! We're delighted to hear that every part of your journey exceeded your expectations. Going the extra mile.

What a fantastic trip. I could not recommend Realistic Asia higher for their support of we two older folk on this trip. Their guides were very insightful and caring and they took us places we would never have found alone. Aside from the trip itself, the “back office “ had connections that helped immensely with one particular need that arose.

Response from the operator: Dear Ian, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. We’re truly delighted to hear that you had such a fantastic trip and felt well supported throughout your journey. We’re glad our back-office team could assist when you needed extra support. Taking care of our guests, especially when unexpected situations arise, is very important to us. Thank you again for your trust and kind recommendation. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for another journey with Realistic Asia in the future. Realistic Asia team

    Great experience!

We had great time in Vietnam. The organisation was very good! I particularly would like to thank Ivy for her hospitality and great service! Looking back we would have made some changes to the programme but that’s only our own fault because our research was not thorough enough.

Response from the operator: Dear Igors, Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We are so glad to know that you have enjoyed your trip to Vietnam in 10 days. It was a big pleasure for us to organize your holiday. Thank you again for trusting our company, and we hope to see you again! Realistic Asia team

Highlights of Northern Vietnam In 6 Days: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.

How much does Highlights of Northern Vietnam In 6 Days cost?

    +

Prices start at $58 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Highlights of Northern Vietnam In 6 Days take?

    +

Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.

Is Highlights of Northern Vietnam In 6 Days worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Highlights of Northern Vietnam In 6 Days?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Highlights of Northern Vietnam In 6 Days suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Highlights of Northern Vietnam In 6 Days?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Highlights of Northern Vietnam In 6 Days start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hanoi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hanoi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hanoi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
