Lovely afternoon treat

Had afternoon tea for two followed by the heritage tour. The afternoon tea was lovely, 5 different and very beautiful sandwiches, 2 scones and a selection of really pretty and tasty deserts. Choice of teas, coffee or soft drinks. Could not finish it all. Staff friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. We then took the 5pm heritage tour with Craig. Craig gave us lots of information as he guided us around, my favourite bit was seeing the bridge. Easy to get a taxi back to our hotel from the QE2

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your incredible experience with us! We're delighted to know that you have enjoyed our services. and look forward to welcoming you back for more unforgettable moments in the future!

A Royal Experience Aboard the QE2 – A Stay to Remember

I stayed aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2 in November 2024, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. As someone with the surname Elizabeth, I was pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful sea view room upgrade—a personal touch that set the tone for a wonderful stay. The ship is a floating piece of history, elegantly preserved with a perfect blend of nostalgia and comfort. I dined at two of the onboard restaurants, and both were fantastic—the food was delicious, well-presented, and full of flavor. I also visited two bars, both offering a relaxing vibe and perfectly mixed cocktails. A special thank you to Abanoub and Om Prakash, who delivered excellent service with genuine warmth and professionalism. If you're looking for a unique stay in Dubai, the QE2 is an exceptional choice. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your valuable feedback ..We are delighted to learn that our guests had a wonderful experience . we will forward your valuable feed back to administration .We look forward to serve you again soon 🙂

Underwhelming touring great liner

This was a strange experience. I spent most of the tour in a dining room. The food was excellent and the staff fantastic but I wanted to see more of the QE2. We visited the bridge and an engine room, both of which were amazing to see, I had hoped to more a feel of the great liner. The tour was narrow in scope and I felt greatly underdelivered

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the dining experience and the hospitality of the staff. The QE2 tour is one of our most popular activities, offering a glimpse into the iconic liner’s history, including exclusive access to areas like the bridge and engine room. However, we understand your desire to explore more of the ship, and we appreciate your input as we continuously strive to enhance our experiences. We hope to welcome you again for another memorable journey!

A Time in Queen Elizabeth☆

From 2024.10/30 to 11/2, 3 nights and 4 days. Check-in 15:00 Japanese. This is where I decided to stay this time! The decisive reason is that you can stay on one of the world's top luxury cruise ships at the time. That's about it. This is a hotel that can only be experienced in Dubai. It is a 55-year-old ship, so it feels old, but it also has a sense of heaviness, cleanliness, and facilities that can be used without any particular inconvenience. The service is also excellent. I was simply impressed with the service the hotel gave us. Especially the crew (staff) thanatcha. She was very supportive of me. She was also the one who made the early check-in considering me being tired. For travelers, a nice service. Thank you very much. Thank you. And the hotel also has on-board exploration, scenery, afternoon tea, bar, etc., so you can enjoy the hotel situation ♪ 1, Classic King Room 1 Deck on the forehand It is wider than I thought. Windows are not open or closeable. Sea view side. Bathtub and amenities available. 2, Breakfast forehand Q-Deck forehand LIDO Buffet style. 7:00〜 From here you can go out on deck. Smoking is allowed on deck. For smokers, I'm glad. 3, Royal Afternoonty on B Deck 15:00 - Keege course and Brutania course. There is also a herage tour (exploration of the ruins on board). I enjoyed the Brutania course. Free drinks. Satisfied with 2 cups (lol) You can also go out on deck from here. It will be above the Q-Deck so it will be even more scenic. We recommend it especially at sunset. 4, GOLDEN LION (Bar) Uefa U-Deck 12:00 ~ Accounting per shot. Kurekaka possible. It's also good to sip a drink because it's so nice ♪ I was so satisfied that four days and three nights was not enough. I wish I could have stayed another week. By all means, please include a hotel here in your selection of hotels ♪

Heritage Tour and Afternoon Tea at Queen Elizabeth 2 Dubai: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.

How much does Heritage Tour and Afternoon Tea at Queen Elizabeth 2 Dubai cost?

+

Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Heritage Tour and Afternoon Tea at Queen Elizabeth 2 Dubai take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.

Is Heritage Tour and Afternoon Tea at Queen Elizabeth 2 Dubai worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Heritage Tour and Afternoon Tea at Queen Elizabeth 2 Dubai?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Heritage Tour and Afternoon Tea at Queen Elizabeth 2 Dubai suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Heritage Tour and Afternoon Tea at Queen Elizabeth 2 Dubai?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Heritage Tour and Afternoon Tea at Queen Elizabeth 2 Dubai start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubai?

+

On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Dune Buggy Safari Tour in Red Dunes Options. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubai?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubai?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
