Simply wonderful
I had wonderful time during this tour. The tour is very well designed and organized, it shows a history from ancient to modern times, and everything was smooth and perfect from the beginning. I have lots of food allergies and can't eat spicy foods. They have arranged everything for me so I could simply enjoy it. I have really enjoyed walking and tasting everything and I must say, everyone should do these tours with Korean Gourmet Hunters. I will always remember my vacation in Seoul.

Good insight to the tastes and foods of Seoul
Overall a very good tour to the tastes and foods of Seoul & South Korea. The fried chicken a definite highlight as was the local ice-cream, which was excellent. While there was a good overall selection of food, several dishes (5) are all served at the first food stall and is essentially a full meal. We would have preferred spending a little more time exploring the markets and sampling the different foods at different stalls and in particular some of the Korean snacks (salted fish etc). This would also help provide more background to the foods of Korea.

Unique Food Tour
I sought out Gastro Tour Seoul for a unique experience. Our guide, Veronica, had advanced training in culinary and food science. Therefore, we did not visit the touristy places experienced on other food tours. This tour was tasty and fun with Veronica’s knowledge of food, Korean history and local customs. We felt like we were getting insider information from her as she took us through the streets and pointed out the best places.
