A hidden gem in Delhi with lots to do & see
Hauz Khas Village is certainly a gem of Delhi that gets shrouded by the more popular sites. The cost of entry is lower in comparison and the tomb site is so beautiful! My partner and I visited early in the morning when the street boutique stores were still closed and the crowd was thin. The security guard was helpful in getting the tickets and the audio tour was most helpful in providing context about HKV and the fort (which is actually a medieval era college!). We got some nice clicks of the lake from above and finished our tour with breakfast at the Tea room. Would highly recommend this experience - one of those safer Delhi corners that are better explored on foot and on your own.

Must-see place with Indiana Jones vibes and heaps of native wildlife; not so great app for the tour
This place is an absolute must go for anyone that likes ruins and adventure vibes. It honestly felt like I was in an indiana jones movie or something like this. You can walk almost anywhere inside the madrasa, including some areas that can feel very creepy if you're into that type of thing too. Probably one of my favourite places I've ever been, so highly recommend going for it. The site and the park also felt extremely safe, well maintained, and, at least when going in the morning, very quiet (maybe another 20 or so people on the site while I was there). They're also a lovely place to see native wildlife. While I was there, I saw SO MANY beautiful chipmunks, birds, some bugs and milipedes, peacocks, parakeets, a bunch of bats and even a type of ferret. One small tip though: get the entry ticket online from your hotel as at least I had issues with signal to pay it at the entrance. Aside from that, the audio tour itself was good in the knowledge it provided, but the app wasn't the best, as it doesnt work very well when taking pictures and locking your phone, and a lot of the times it goes back to home and you need to go to the audio tour page again. The narration also sounded AI but it didnt bother me too much as the information was good. The agent that helped me, Tanmay, was extremely helpful and lovely though, and managed to help me figure it out and accommodate for a very short notice booking. Overall a lovely experience, slightly dampened by a not so great app, but an absolute must see place.
