Chaotic but good!
This surprised me actually how much I liked it! It was seriously chaotic at some point cycling through the streets of Hanoi - probably not one for the nervous. But an experience all the same. I loved the juxtaposition of downtown Hanoi versus Banana Island. All in all - it felt like a fun cycle with friends rather than an organized tour. Considering the drink and food included - I thought it was quite good value too.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the amazing review! We're thrilled that you loved the chaotic energy of Hanoi's streets and the peaceful contrast of Banana Island. Hearing that it felt like a fun bike ride with friends is the best compliment we could ask for. Glad you enjoyed the food, drinks, and the great value. Hope to ride with you again!

Fantastic
This was such an incredible tour. It's hectic and exciting, but so rewarding to see Hanoi in such a unique way. Our tour guide ensured that we knew precisely what we would be doing, and was very kind and informative as we stopped at each of our destinations (and ensured we had a good opportunity for pictures and appreciate the scenery). He was very attentive to people's dietary restrictions as well -- and the food we had was absolutely delicious! I'd highly recommend this to anyone who would want to see Hanoi in a unique and exciting way.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your incredible review! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed exploring Hanoi in such a unique and exciting way. It is wonderful to know that our guide took great care of you, from taking pictures to accommodating dietary restrictions, and that you loved the food! We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back on another adventure soon.

Love this activity. Bit Hairy at times but once you got used to the traffic it was great saw lots of things learnt lots of history
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for leaving us such a great review! We are thrilled to hear that you loved the activity. You are absolutely right—Hanoi's traffic can definitely feel a "bit hairy" at first glance! But we are so glad you embraced the adventure, got used to the flow, and experienced the city the way locals do. Navigating those lively streets is definitely half the fun! It is also wonderful to know that you enjoyed seeing the sights and learning about our rich history along the way. Sharing our culture with adventurous guests like you is what we love doing most. Thank you for choosing Vietnam Travelers Tour. We hope to welcome you back for another exciting ride in the future!

Great tour and experience
It was a great tour to experience the city by bycicle. The busy traffic, the quit place on banana island. The guide Khoi told us a lot about the real life and the history of the vietnam people.
Response from the operator: Exploring Hanoi by bicycle is truly a special way to see the city. We love that you got to experience the exciting contrast between the bustling city traffic and the peaceful, quiet oasis of Banana Island. It really showcases the different sides of Hanoi! A special thank you for your kind words about Khoi. He is incredibly passionate about sharing the rich history and the authentic, real-life stories of the Vietnamese people with our guests. We will be sure to pass your lovely compliments on to him—it will definitely make his day! Thank you for riding with Vietnam Travelers Tour. We hope to welcome you back for another beautiful journey in the future!

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Hanoi City Bike Tour through Banana Island & Food Tasting: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.
How much does Hanoi City Bike Tour through Banana Island & Food Tasting cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Hanoi City Bike Tour through Banana Island & Food Tasting take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.
Is Hanoi City Bike Tour through Banana Island & Food Tasting worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 161 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Hanoi City Bike Tour through Banana Island & Food Tasting?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Hanoi City Bike Tour through Banana Island & Food Tasting suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Hanoi City Bike Tour through Banana Island & Food Tasting?
+
Around 56 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Hanoi City Bike Tour through Banana Island & Food Tasting start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hanoi?
+
On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hanoi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hanoi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
