We then look at long exposure shots, capturing the light-streams of traffic through the ancient city gate. Next, we cross the overpass to venture towards Long Bien market, weaving through lively market traders and locals carrying produce. Beneath the bridge, stalls provide unique perspectives, while the main entrance offers opportunities for panning shots of loaded bikes and couriers.

Inside Long Bien market, we’ll focus on intimate relationship shots of local workers, utilizing special techniques to capture the action. Explore the fish market, working with different shutter speeds for dynamic scenes of workers sorting seafood. This is also a great spot for detail shots - of goods and traders’ tools, for example. We then venture towards the back of the market for candid portraits of couriers on their trucks. We conclude the night at a tea shop near the market, reviewing and selecting photos while sharing valuable feedback to elevate your photography skills.

Great photo tour with Tung!
The tour with Tung was absolutely fantastic - I enjoyed it very much and learned a lot about photography but also about Vietnam and Hanoi specifically. Plus he totally reflects this mix of the Vietnamese and the German cultures - and that was also very inspiring for me as a German. So thanks a lot!

Wonderful photo tour in the evening
My daughter and I had definitely a very good tour in the evening. The photography spots were chosen mindfully. The explanations from Tung were helpful. Especially the long bien market at the end gave us the possibility to practice the inspirations we got before. Although we can speak English, it was very convenient to talk to him in German. Thank you very much for organizing the tour with Tung for us.

Great lessons from amazing professionals in Hanoi
Amazing experience with Tung Phan, Bryan Ng and Tung Vu. This was my first lesson from professionals. Great lessons on camera controls, lens and most importantly - composition. I quickly realized all the photos I had taken before lacked any interesting composition. They explained, quite patiently, about composition techniques and creatively things about the subjects and the framing. I did not have any experience in street photography or portrait photography. Learnt interesting techniques and approaches from each of them. The best part was this was hands on testing at the same time. Overall an amazing experience. Would highly recommend learning from each of them for their unique style and capabilities.

A surprising and perfect photography tour in Hanoi.
There are many places worth visiting in Hanoi and its surrounding areas, and it is a must-visit place for photography enthusiasts. However, how to choose a trustworthy company is crucial. This time, I chose Vietnam in Focus. They arranged five photography tours for me, Hanoi By Night, Hanoi Explorer Morning, Hanoi Traditional Craft Villages Colors Tour, Ninh Binh Photography Explorer, and Hanoi Thieves Market Tours. I was pleased to meet two professional photographers, Tung Phan, and Brian Ng. They led me to participate in different Tours. They would first discuss the camera, lens, composition, and other knowledge used with me, and then guide me on how to discover light. How to choose different shooting angles allows me to take many satisfactory photos. Whether a photography amateur or a professional photographer, you can discover unique shooting locations and different shooting perspectives from those Tours. I strongly recommend that you take the Vietnam in Focus Tour in Hanoi, you will not be disappointed.
