Titop island
What a wonderful day cruise tour on this World Heritage site! Everything was great. Don't forget to climb to the top of Titop for the best view of the rocky mountains surrounding the island. Spectacular!!!

Recommendation
One of the highlights of my trip to Vietnam! Many interesting things to do and many great people to meet. The food on cruise was also good. I strongly recommend this tour for young travellers.

Beyond our expectation
Halong Bay is a must-see if you are in Vietnam! This tour was even better than expected. The caves were breathtaking. Our guide was hilarious and the cruise was nice and private. Big stars!!!!

Thin itinerary and very average service
Rather smooth arrangement on the logistics side, but for the private tour we have paid (a lot) for, the hired boat randomly took on other passengers in the middle of trip, without at least checking with us beforehand. Seafood lunch provided at the boat was very basic, tiny value for the price we paid. Tour guide was not doing much of job but rather accompanying us along the way, which was rather disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone.

Splendid Halong bay cruise.
We were on board the Paradise Excellence cruise boat, our room is quite spacious and clean, and the balcony gave us a lovely view of the islands and islets while cruising. The crew were friendly and helpful, food was good and the entertainers were good. The highlight of the tour was the amazing Sung Sot cave, i never expected the cave to be this huge and had incredible formations of stalagmites n stalagtites, it was a remarkable experience for me. Our visit to Ti Top island was another experience for me, my first and hardest climb to the top of a mountain, i fellt exhausted, but it was all worth it, because the view of Halong bay from the top was just stunning! The climb down was much easier. While waiting for our ferry to take us back to our cruise boat i watch the other tourist frolicking in d sea and some of them were sunbathing n strolling along the yellow sand beach. Halong Bay is one adventure trip I will remember with fondness.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Halong Bay Premium Day Trip: Cave, Kayak, Buffet Lunch & Transfer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.
How much does Halong Bay Premium Day Trip: Cave, Kayak, Buffet Lunch & Transfer cost?
+
Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Halong Bay Premium Day Trip: Cave, Kayak, Buffet Lunch & Transfer take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.
Is Halong Bay Premium Day Trip: Cave, Kayak, Buffet Lunch & Transfer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Halong Bay Premium Day Trip: Cave, Kayak, Buffet Lunch & Transfer?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Halong Bay Premium Day Trip: Cave, Kayak, Buffet Lunch & Transfer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Halong Bay Premium Day Trip: Cave, Kayak, Buffet Lunch & Transfer?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Halong Bay Premium Day Trip: Cave, Kayak, Buffet Lunch & Transfer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hanoi?
+
On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hanoi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hanoi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
