They say La Regina Legend is a glamorous cruise without compare! The ship effortlessly blends all that’s great about the liners past – wood detailing and brass fixtures, for example – with modern comfort and luxury. She features luxury down to the smallest detail, from the ornately decorated paintings of Vietnamese queens in the restaurant to the wood-paneled library, La Regina Legend’s beauty lies within her features. Honestly, the four-deck cruise deserves to be fully explored to uncover her secrets and your favorite places on board.

An enjoyable cruise.
La Regina Legend Cruise: We has done a cruise in Halong bay over 10 years ago. Those days it was mainly wooden cruise boats (called junks) with 5 to 10 small rooms in them and the voyage was limited to a smaller area in Halong and Batulong bays. This time we found the 'boats' are proper cruise ships with 2 to 3 floors of cabins - numbering anything from 10 to 30 ensuite rooms. The top floor is usually kept for the bar and open air lounges. The Legend is one of the larger ships in the La Regina group. The cabins are quite big and the bathrooms are large with hot tub, showers etc etc.. Each cabin has a nice balcony to relax and watch the beautiful scenery unfolding around. The ship is very clean and well maintained. Beds are comfortable and the ambience very nice. Catering was top class. The topdeck bar is well tended and has reasonably priced cocktails (average US 8.00), premium spirits (Avg US 12.00) and happy hours to boot. We booked the 2 nights 3 day cruise. Well managed by a very efficient and pleasant manager Mr. Duy. A special mention also to Mr. Gino - the butler assigned to our group. Day activities included Kayaking , cycling/ electric buggy to an island village and a hike uphill to a cave.

The way to enjoy Halong Bay
Enjoyed seeing the beauty of Halong Bay. The staff was amazing and did whatever they could to make your experience enjoyable. The food was fantastic with a great selection of Vietnamese and Western cuisine. The nightly squid fishing was fun.

Amazing tour
What a nice trip. We had a 3 days/2 nights trip, which is recommended as the day trip - which was the highlight - is only in that package. Andi on the day trip was amazing! Duy, Felix and the rest of crew were really sweet. Food wasn't amazing but presented really well.

Wouldn’t use this company again
Go with a different vendor as this was disappointing. King bed was two singles pushed together, actual cruise on ship very short, most of distance in smaller uncomfortable boat. No water or coffee served with meals. Windows old and stained to look through.

Wonderful cruise with wonderful staff!
My boyfriend and I spent three wonderful days and two nights on La Regina cruise of Lan Ha and Ha Long Bay. We loved the cabins, the food, the excursions, and the staff. We highly recommend La Regina and definitely stay for a second night.

Halong Bay Cruises 3Days/2Night on 5 Star Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.
How much does Halong Bay Cruises 3Days/2Night on 5 Star Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $680 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Halong Bay Cruises 3Days/2Night on 5 Star Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.
Is Halong Bay Cruises 3Days/2Night on 5 Star Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Halong Bay Cruises 3Days/2Night on 5 Star Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Halong Bay Cruises 3Days/2Night on 5 Star Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Halong Bay Cruises 3Days/2Night on 5 Star Cruise?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Halong Bay Cruises 3Days/2Night on 5 Star Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hanoi?
+
On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ha Giang Loop 3-Day Small Group - from Hanoi, (Group/Individual) HANOI STREET FOOD TOUR, Incense Village Quang Phu Cau, Hat Village and Hanoi City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hanoi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hanoi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Halong Bay Cruises 3Days/2Night on 5 Star Cruise?
+

Does Halong Bay Cruises 3Days/2Night on 5 Star Cruise include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 2 listed pickup locations in and around Hanoi. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is Halong Bay Cruises 3Days/2Night on 5 Star Cruise offered in?
+
