    Best part of the planet

A stunning two nights in a remarkable part of the planet. The staff were magnificent and we met some great people. The various excursions and adventures were amazing. Loved Orchid Trendy. I was initially worried about the number of cruise boats and their heavy footprint. But they seem to be kept reasonably confined and you jump onto smaller tenders for excursions and adventures on islands further afield. Our cabin was beautiful.

    Amazing staff

First and foremost I state that the staff are amazing on this cruise, the rooms are beautiful and the food is very good. Upon arrival at the port it was chaos, there was no instruction on where to go or what to do. They had people leaving boats in the same area as people arriving to board the boats. Our bags were loaded by the crew and We finally boarded a speed boat to get to the big boat. We were greeted aboard by the sound of drums and a welcome drink. We sat down to a set menu 5 course lunch, the staff were very attentive. After lunch we settled in our cabin for a bit of relaxation, we were not interested in doing any of the excursions, all we wanted was to relax. In the evening we had a BBQ dinner with music, it was Christmas Eve and they made it very special. Now here is where a few negatives come into play. Since the first lunch everything else was buffet style. I don't mind a buffet breakfast and lunch, however, for the price you pay we feel that a sit down meal, served to you is warranted. The price of drinks is very expensive, and the price of a massage is more expensive than we pay in Australia. On the day of coming home our bags were loaded by the crew. This time however, it was not the speed boat that took us back, it was a smelly diesel tender that had seen better days. Once back at port, our bags were put on the dock and we had to carry them ourselves. The feeling that we got at that point was that they had gotten our money so service no longer mattered. All in all the staff and scenery make the cruise worth while, but don't expect everything that is the brochure to happen. As an aside there was no entertainment at all on our second night which was very dissapointing.

    +

Prices start at $567 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Halong Bay 3 Days - 2 Nights with La Regina Legend Cruise 5 Star take?

    +

Is Halong Bay 3 Days - 2 Nights with La Regina Legend Cruise 5 Star worth it?

    +

    +

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Hanoi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hanoi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hanoi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
