    Mysterious Teotihuacan Pyramids!

Teotihuacan Tour: Stunning Pyramids around Mexico City with Salvador from Vibe Adventures Great trip to the pyramids - a must do for anyone visiting Mexico City. The location itself is incredible and well worth the visit for only a short trip from Mexico City. Salvador was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect mix of information and time to explore the sites ourselves. Vibe Adventures only needs 3 passengers for a private tour, although there were only 2 of us, we paid for a third person for a Private tour with Salvador who was the best! Gracias Salvador!

Teotihuacan and Mexica Culture, top notch!

Excellent tour. Went early in the morning and would definitely recommend to avoid the heat and people. Our guide, Diego was great, spoke excellent English, gave us a ton of information on Teotihuacan, Mexica culture, and the surrounding area. Would do another tour with this company.

Response from the operator: Hi! Thanks for taking a moment to write such a nice review and recommend us to others. We are glad you enjoyed your tour to Teotihuacan with Diego.. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and we hope you won't hesitate to let us know if we can serve you in the future! gratefully, Vibe Adventures’ team

    Impressive and humbling Teotihuancan

The tour to Teotihuacan became more special with the guidance of Salvador. He is an excellent guide, friendly, well informed and very professional. He avoided the crowds on a long weekend sunny Sunday by altering the usual order of the visit to the site. It would have been very difficult to navigate the site on my own without him. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about Mexican history and provides an excellent service. That said, this tour is unmissable. Wear comfortable shoes, sunscreen, sun glasses, hat/cap and enjoy the buildings and mithology of a highly advanced Mesoamerican civilization. Impressive and humbling.

Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and positive review! We're thrilled to hear that your experience at Teotihuacan was so special and that Salvador did an exceptional job as your guide. His passion, knowledge, and professionalism are qualities we deeply value in our team, and it's wonderful to know they made a difference during your visit. We also appreciate the practical tips you shared for future travelers — they’ll definitely come in handy! Teotihuacan is a truly magical place, and it’s an honor for us to help share its history with amazing visitors like you. We hope to welcome you on another adventure with us soon!

Half-Day Tour to Teotihuacan Pyramids from Mexico City: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Half-Day Tour to Teotihuacan Pyramids from Mexico City cost?

    +

Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half-Day Tour to Teotihuacan Pyramids from Mexico City take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Half-Day Tour to Teotihuacan Pyramids from Mexico City worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 54 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Tour to Teotihuacan Pyramids from Mexico City?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half-Day Tour to Teotihuacan Pyramids from Mexico City suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Half-Day Tour to Teotihuacan Pyramids from Mexico City?

    +

Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half-Day Tour to Teotihuacan Pyramids from Mexico City start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
