Recommend 💯

I liked their professional and timely communication. Duduzile, our guide for the day was friendly and professional. She also picked me up on time. Trust Dudu to maintain the vibe of the day as it should be. Not once did anyone feel rushed.

Very expensive...

Very expensive experience. Would have been better doing hop on hop off bus! Our guide was fine but not needed for what we did.

Response from the operator: Dear Russell Goelder Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that the experience didn’t match your expectations. I remember your booking clearly, I’d like to clarify a few things. You booked a shared tour at R2000 (around $110 USD) for two people, but on the day, you actually received a private luxury tour, just the two of you in a luxury Mercedes-Benz C-Class, with a professional guide, hotel pick-up and drop-off, and a flexible itinerary and managing entry logistics . That’s a premium experience, and typically costs four times more if booked as a private luxury tour. Your booking included:... Private vehicle with only two guests, Professional, licensed guide for the full tour, Mercedes-Benz C Class transport, Kirstenbosch entry and guided walk, Historical and cultural insights along the way, Hotel pick-up and drop-off.... The hop-on hop-off big bus is great for quick stops and self-guided sightseeing, but it doesn’t offer the same comfort, flexibility, or personal attention. Our service is tailored for guests who value a richer, more comfortable experience. We understand everyone travels differently, and we respect that. ..Still, we feel the value you received was much higher than what you paid. Kelvin J. Real Africa Travel Tours

Half Day Tour: Table Mountain & KirstenBosch Botanical Gardens: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does Half Day Tour: Table Mountain & KirstenBosch Botanical Gardens cost?

+

Prices start at $1000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half Day Tour: Table Mountain & KirstenBosch Botanical Gardens take?

+

Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is Half Day Tour: Table Mountain & KirstenBosch Botanical Gardens worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half Day Tour: Table Mountain & KirstenBosch Botanical Gardens?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half Day Tour: Table Mountain & KirstenBosch Botanical Gardens suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Half Day Tour: Table Mountain & KirstenBosch Botanical Gardens?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half Day Tour: Table Mountain & KirstenBosch Botanical Gardens start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

+

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
