Hend and her team made this dream a reality!

I’ll start by saying this, anytime I return to Egypt, I will definitely be using Nefert Tours again. Our drivers, Sameh and Mohammed, were punctual, professional, kind, and pleasant throughout the day. They drove safely, made us feel completely comfortable, and even gave my wife and me extra time to finish breakfast before starting our tour. Then we met our guide, Hend, and she was exceptional from the very beginning. Her knowledge of Egyptian history and culture was remarkable. She knew everything from the history of the pyramids down to their measurements and dimensions, while also knowing the best way to experience each pyramid and the Sphinx. She even guided us to the best spots and angles for photographs. The included camel ride was breathtaking and one of those experiences that words and pictures simply cannot capture. After exploring the pyramids and Sphinx, Hend and our driver took us for a traditional Egyptian lunch, which was absolutely delicious. What really shows how impressed we were with Hend is what happened next. We had originally booked her only for the pyramids and Sphinx. We already had separate tickets for the Grand Egyptian Museum that afternoon and planned to explore it on our own. But after spending the morning with Hend and seeing how knowledgeable and engaging she was, we changed our plans on the spot and upgraded our tour so she could guide us through the museum as well. That was one of the best decisions we made all day. Hend’s knowledge inside the Grand Egyptian Museum was incredible. Rather than simply looking at artifacts, we were able to understand the history, meaning, and stories behind what we were seeing. Her explanations brought the museum to life and transformed what would have been a self guided visit into a truly unforgettable experience. Throughout the day, we also stopped at several shops where we could learn about local products and optionally purchase gifts and souvenirs, with no pressure or obligation. From beginning to end, Nefert Tours far exceeded our expectations. The safe and comfortable transportation, professionalism, hospitality, organization, and especially Hend’s extraordinary knowledge made this one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Egypt. I cannot recommend Nefert Tours highly enough. Hend was truly outstanding, and Sameh and Mohammed made sure we were safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the day. If you’re visiting Giza and want more than just a sightseeing tour, if you want an experience that brings Egypt’s incredible history to life, book with Nefert Tours and ask for Hend. You will be glad you did. As for us, whenever we return to Egypt, Nefert Tours will be our first call.

Cairo

We had such an amazing experience with these two guys Sameh and Abdul in Cairo! They were incredibly accommodating and made sure we got to see everything we wanted while also giving us some awesome local recommendations we never would have found on our own. We truly felt like we were experiencing Cairo with locals rather than just visiting as tourists. They always made us feel comfortable and safe, and they were extremely kind, friendly, and so much fun to be around. We genuinely enjoyed their company and had lots of laughs along the way. They made our time in Cairo even more memorable! I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Cairo who wants a fun, authentic, and personalized experience. Thank you both for taking such great care of us and showing us the best of your city! 🇪🇬❤️

Half Day Private Tour of the Giza Pyramids with Camel Ride, Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.

How much does Half Day Private Tour of the Giza Pyramids with Camel Ride, Lunch cost?

+

Prices start at $5 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half Day Private Tour of the Giza Pyramids with Camel Ride, Lunch take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.

Is Half Day Private Tour of the Giza Pyramids with Camel Ride, Lunch worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 90 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 132 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half Day Private Tour of the Giza Pyramids with Camel Ride, Lunch?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half Day Private Tour of the Giza Pyramids with Camel Ride, Lunch suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Half Day Private Tour of the Giza Pyramids with Camel Ride, Lunch?

+

Around 46 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half Day Private Tour of the Giza Pyramids with Camel Ride, Lunch start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cairo?

+

On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
