    About this experience

Discover the rich tapestry of Jewish history and culture, as you stroll through this vibrant neighbourhood, where every corner reveals a new chapter in the story of Prague's Jewish Quarter. Join me, a fellow member of the Prague Jewish Community and Jewish historian, as we visit the historic synagogues, each with its own unique story to tell. We will visit several famous synagogues, the Chevrah Kaddisha building and marvel at the stunning architecture of the Old Jewish Cemetery, where graves are up to 12 layers deep; and where you will find the resting place of Rabbi Loew, renowned in legend as the creator of the Golem. You will get a chance to view the largest collection of Judaica in the world, there is no other collection of historical Jewish artifacts like it! This is the only Jewish Quarter that the Nazis purposely did not destroy, making this private tour an unforgettable journey through one of Europe's most storied and resilient communities.

    Prague Jewish quarter tour

We had a wonderful tour with Lyuba. Even my teenage daughters thought it was worthwhile. She’s very knowledgeable & she gave us a nice overview

Tour guide Ljuba Poleva is the best tour guide ever! We fell in love with beautiful Prague and hope to visit it again!

My husband and I visited Prague in the beginning of May, 2025. We took two tours and spent the whole day with Ljuba, the best tour guide ever. Her knowledge, professionalism and expertise made that day memorable and it became the highlight of our stay in Prague.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, I am so happy you both enjoyed the city. Please come again!

    Highly Recommend Tour/Tour Guide

Luba wasn't able to be our tour guide, but she arranged for her colleague Katrin to take us on a three-hour tour of the Jewish Quarter in Prague. We had a wonderful experience! The pace of the tour was perfect, and Katrin was extremely knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. We even bumped into Luba along the way :-). This was a "do not miss" experience, and I would highly recommend Luba or Katrin.

Response from the operator: I am glad that you enjoyed your time with Katrin she is an excellent guide. Thank you for writing such a lovely review!

    Unforgettable experience

We expected our tour guide to share her knowledge on the subject while taking us through the sites. Instead, Liuba poured her heart and soul and showed us that she is not only an expert but also deeply cares about the tour quality and the engagement and understanding of her clients. Ljuba is very pleasant and the whole experience created a lasting memory for us.

Response from the operator: Hi ! I am so glad that you enjoyed your tour of the Jewish Quarter and thank you for your touching words! I am so glad I could give you a lasting memory of Prague! Many Thanks!

Half-day Private Tour of Prague's Charming Jewish Quarter: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Half-day Private Tour of Prague's Charming Jewish Quarter cost?

    +

Prices start at $330 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half-day Private Tour of Prague's Charming Jewish Quarter take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Half-day Private Tour of Prague's Charming Jewish Quarter worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half-day Private Tour of Prague's Charming Jewish Quarter?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half-day Private Tour of Prague's Charming Jewish Quarter suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Half-day Private Tour of Prague's Charming Jewish Quarter?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half-day Private Tour of Prague's Charming Jewish Quarter start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

    +

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
