READ THIS REVIEW: DANGEROUS PRACTICE leading to injury and loss of belongings
We booked a charter with Nomad Sailing Trips and we were loaded onto a boat at the shore to transfer to the sailboat. The small boat (Goldenship RIB, maximum listed capacity of 4 people) was overloaded by the captain with 8 people and their luggage. During disembarkation the RIB subsequently capsized in a wave leading to 5 people entering deep water with their luggage, one person was also struck over the head with a loose oar. No life jackets were available and the staff on the larger boat stood next to a life ring without deploying it (despite some of the people overboard being separated from the capsized boat and over 5 metres from safety - my only explanation is that they did not want to notify the authorities as required if a life-ring is used when people are overboard). In total, a life-saving medical device, a medical testing kit, and 3 smart phones were destroyed by sea water; loose property was also lost in the sea. One of my group was pulled by a strap around her neck choking her, another was held underwater by their bag. The representative on the boat blamed us, despite also admitting that that boat was clearly overloaded. After the trip, I called 9 times through the following days to discuss what happened and I was only answered once. During this call Agustin (company co-founder) told me that ‘people drop their phones in the sea all the time’ and ‘we should not have been holding them’ (they were inside our luggage at the time of the capsizing). I was told by Agustin that another senior member of the team would call me back to discuss what had happened – which they never did. The company also ignored my messages asking for details to complete a report to the authorities. If this was not enough, In addition to the dangerous practice, we confirmed booking for 7 people and there was only food provided for 6 people. I also informed them in advance that we had a coeliac with a gluten allergy; however, every plate of food had bread on it. Despite losing medical equipment and over 2000 euros of personal belongings, we were lucky that nobody drowned, we were then treated like we were the problem and then ignored - consider this seriously when booking, there are many other options on Ibiza.

We were a group of 4. Our captain Julien was amazing. Meetup point and pickup were easy and on time. The experience was wonderful and Julien took us to different spots and we ended the day with a beautiful sunset.

A wonderful trip
We had a wonderful time aboard Boomerang with the absolutely amazing Carlotta at the helm. She is as one with boat and put us immediately at ease - her skill and expertise is phenomenal to watch! She also made sure are dog was completely comfortable on board and made the experience a totally unforgettable one. Carlotta - We wish you good fortune with whatever your next adventure is!
