    What you'll see and do

    1. Pasar Chandni Chowk

The original Chandni Chowk, a half-moon-shaped square, was located in front of the Municipal Townhall and its reflection used to shine in the moonlit water pool in front of it. A shallow water channel was built from the Yamuna river, which ran through the middle of the straight road, known as the Chandani Chowk bazaar, with roads and shops on either side of the channel. This road had three bazaars. Chandni Chowk, or the Moonlight Square, and its three bazaars were designed and established by Princess Jahanara Begum, Shah Jahan's favourite daughter, in 1650 CE.

    2. Jama Masjid

The Masjid-i Jehan-Numa (lit. 'World-reflecting Mosque'), commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is one of the largest mosques in India. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656 and inaugurated by its first Imam, Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari. Situated in the Mughal capital of Shahjahanabad (today Old Delhi), it served as the imperial mosque of the Mughal emperors until the demise of the empire in 1857. The Jama Masjid was regarded as a symbolic node of Islamic power across India, well into the colonial era. It was also a site of political significance during several key periods of British rule. It remains in active use and is one of Delhi's most iconic sites, closely identified with the ethos of Old Delhi.

    3. Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib

Located in the heart of Chandni Chowk, Delhi’s most popular marketplace, Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib is a historical shrine as it marks the exact site wherein 1675 Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, was mercilessly beheaded on orders by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb The Sis Ganj Gurudwara is built in the Mughal architectural style with mesh-work windows, pavilions & parapets all in sandstone instead of the usual white marble like the other Gurudwaras. It is known to have served as a Mosque & a Gurudwara alternating itself owing to the sensitive political climate for a long time before finally being converted into a full-fledged Gurudwara with Gold-Gilded Domes In 1930. It has a separate building that serves as the Langar (free kitchen) as well as accommodation for visitors & the homeless. It also houses relics from the Guru’s life, such as the well from where he drank while in prison there & the trunk of the tree under which he was executed.

    4. Khari Baoli

Khari Baoli is a street in Delhi, India is known for its wholesale grocery and Asia's largest wholesale spice market selling a variety of spices, nuts, herbs and food products like rice and tea.

    5. Naughara - Row Of Nine Houses

The name Naughara literally translates to nine (nau) homes (ghar), though one conflicting source argues for nine pots (ghara) of water kept out for thirsty travellers. Whatever the origin, Naughara remains one of the most charming galis of Shahjahanbad, more so because the quiet gated neighbourhood is entered through the bustling market street of Kinaari (trimmings and decorations) Bazaar. At the end of the lane is the white-marble clad entrance to the c. 19th century Jain Swetamber Mandir, where bursts of colour are provided by the exotic glass work and brilliant paintings. Try not to get fleeced by the temple attendant, and on your way out of the gali, peek into the office of Mr. Atma Ram Agarwal, so chockful of antiques that we first mistook it for a shop!

      15 minutes here

    6. Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir

Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir (Śrī Digambar Jain Lāl Mandir) is the oldest and best-known Jain temple in Delhi, India. It is directly across from the Red Fort in the historical Chandni Chowk area. The temple is known for an avian veterinary hospital, called the Jain Birds Hospital, in a second building behind the main temple.

Safe for single women - At first I was very skeptical of coming for tour in Delhi learning of its safety concerns, but through my friends I learnt of Bike Tribe providing safe and the best tours giving us the taste of freedom as a woman. The whole tour went very smooth, where not even once I felt uncomfortable. I felt very safe and would be back for more. 10/10

Half-Day Premium Classic Old Delhi Cycling Tour - Unity in Diversity: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does Half-Day Premium Classic Old Delhi Cycling Tour - Unity in Diversity cost?

    +

Prices start at $44 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half-Day Premium Classic Old Delhi Cycling Tour - Unity in Diversity take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is Half-Day Premium Classic Old Delhi Cycling Tour - Unity in Diversity worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Premium Classic Old Delhi Cycling Tour - Unity in Diversity?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half-Day Premium Classic Old Delhi Cycling Tour - Unity in Diversity suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Half-Day Premium Classic Old Delhi Cycling Tour - Unity in Diversity?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half-Day Premium Classic Old Delhi Cycling Tour - Unity in Diversity start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

    +

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, 5 Nights 6 Days Private Golden Triangle Tour - Delhi Agra Jaipur, Old & New Delhi Private City Tour – Traveler’s Choice (Top Rated). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
