    John Paul 2

If you’re a fan of John Paul the Great, it’s a moving experience to visit his childhood home and church. Cute town center with great close pastry shops. You’re charged to use restrooms. It’s an hour drive from krakow

An unforgettable tour with John Paul II

It has been one of the best experiences I've ever had during my holidays all around the world. A fascinating and moving journey into the life of my beloved Pope, saint John Paul II, starting from his birthplace, passing through one of his favourite places and ending at a beautiful place built in his memory after his passing. Thomas is the best driver you can have: punctual, friendly and thoughtful. His love and devotion for John Paul II are a plus for the whole experience. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your heartfelt review! We’re thrilled to hear that the journey through the life of Saint John Paul II was such a meaningful experience for you. Thomas truly cares about making each tour special, and your kind words about his dedication mean a lot to us. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again for another unforgettable trip!

    An amazing private trip!!

It is as private a tour as it can get - It was just my wife and I with our guide/driver Thomas. The prices were so reasonable that I had to confirm that we'll have the whole car to ourselves. We had a wonderful trip - Thomas went out of his way to show us around the places important to John Paul II. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the overall experience and we intend to use Thomas for all our sightseeing in future. His prices for Auschwitz and Zacopane are very reasonable as well for such a private and comfortable trip.

Response from the operator: I am very glad that the trip was interesting for You and that You liked it. Thank You

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
