Escape from the busy city.
Great visit to countryside area. Ride was the right amount of challenge for us and there’s always the option of the throttle. Our guide gave recommendations on amounts of assist to use on the hills. Great views and a delicious lunch on the patio of the owner along with a nice visit. I recommend for a get out of the busy city day.
Response from the operator: Thanks a lot for joining and sharing your experience. Enjoy the rest of your time in Thailand! 🐝🚴♀️🚴🚴🏼♂️

Fun and enjoyable day in the countryside
Beautiful facilities and great bikes. Wonderful communication throughout. They picked us up from our hotel. Our guide, Hockey was great! It was fun to see the countryside and we visited a very nice temple. We were provided a delicious lunch, which was tailored to our vegetarian request. We can’t say enough good things about the Buzzy Bee team. They went above and beyond to make it such an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend booking a tour with them.
Response from the operator: Thanks a lot for joining and sharing your experience. Always a pleasure and learning moment to read back any feedback, no matter if it’s positive or negative. Enjoy the rest of your time in Thailand! 🐝🚴♀️🚴🚴🏼♂️

Well-organized e-bike ride
Well-organized, picked up exactly on time, well-cared for e-bikes. Hockey was our guide and was friendly and explained things well and looked after us as we rode. Plenty of time on the bikes to see the countryside. Lunch was modest but delicious and enough after our ride. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thanks for being our guests. Always good to read customers' experience and appreciate you take the time to write a review. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Interesting and beautiful trip
Great day. Very well guided - just the right amount of info and all questions well answered. The equipment was good, clean and well-maintained. I especially liked the lunch! :-)
Response from the operator: Thanks a lot for joining and sharing your experience. Have a safe trip back and send your other son after he arrives in Thailand! 😉

Lovely day biking in the countryside
Very enjoyable day in the country. E bikes were easy to use. Guide was lovely and spoke english well, she went at a reasonable speed with intermittent stops and sights to see. Water was provided with a bottle holder on the bike. A good lunch with soft beverage was prepared and served upon our return. The only complaint was the transportation to and from the bike place. The vehicle used was extremely uncomfortable for the half hour ride.
Response from the operator: Thanks for joining and sharing your experience. We regret your bad transfer experience. We can only say that this kind of transportation (songthaew like pickup truck) is quite the standard on many tours in Thailand. Most people enjoy it and consider it part of the Thailand experience. Sorry to hear your experience was different, happy to still get your overall positive feedback. 🐝🚴🚴🏼♂️🚴♀️ Thanks!

Half-day E-bike Countryside and rice paddies (flat land, GUIDED): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.
How much does Half-day E-bike Countryside and rice paddies (flat land, GUIDED) cost?
+
Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half-day E-bike Countryside and rice paddies (flat land, GUIDED) take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.
Is Half-day E-bike Countryside and rice paddies (flat land, GUIDED) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 100 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half-day E-bike Countryside and rice paddies (flat land, GUIDED)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half-day E-bike Countryside and rice paddies (flat land, GUIDED) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half-day E-bike Countryside and rice paddies (flat land, GUIDED)?
+
Around 35 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half-day E-bike Countryside and rice paddies (flat land, GUIDED) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?
+
On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Thai and Akha Cooking Class in Chiang Mai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
