Not recomended

Late pick-up from our hotel. Driver did not speak English and on a bad mood. City tour does not take to Atlantis Hotel. On the way back, they droped us at Dumai Mall, without transfer to The hotels. Not recomended!

Response from the operator: Our sincere apologies. We get why you were disappointed and we regret to know that the tour was not up to your expectations. We empathize and we promise something like that will never happen. We would like to welcome you again to please you with the best service.

Quick, nice view of Dubai

I booked the tour just the prior evening.. Sowmiya, the agency representative was helpful in getting this confirmed at short notice. The guide, Rehman, came on time and took us around in a private tour explaining that the group tour was overbooked. He was informative and knew his way around the place to get there quickly. Recommended for anyone with limited time to have a quick view of popular landmarks.

Response from the operator: Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback for Noor Al Hayat Tourism. We would like to welcome you again and again!

Great tour guide. Terrible tour agency representative.

Not a great tour agency representative. But Great Tour and Great Tour Guide. The tour agency representative ( I believe her name is Sowmya) was poor in communication and I had a bad experience (read more below). However the tour was excellent and my tour guide Rahman is great and friendly and compensated for the terrible experience the tour agency representative did. BAD EXPERIENCE (see good experience below): The tour agency representative was very poor on communicating on WhatsApp. The day before the tour I texted at 9am and asked for what time is the pick up. She told me she will let me know. AT 4:48pm I had to text her again since she never texted me back. At 5:15pm she said pick up time is 8am to 9am. The day of the tour I was at the lobby at 7:50am. At 9:04 am, they have not picked me up yet so I contacted the representative.   She never responded to my text or my phone call.   She really avoided me, since she know she messed up. At 9:42 am, I tried to reach her again, she finally responded  via text and gave me a lie.   She still wont accept my phone call. My hotel called he up and she answered.  She was avoiding my phone number that is the reason she didnt answer. She said that the tour was waiting for me for 30 mins outside  the hotel. I told her that is a COMPLETE LIE, since i have been in the lobby at 7:40am and if the tour was waiting for me for 30 mins out the hotel (which is not true), they would have gone inside the lobby and ask around people sitting in the lobby.  Also they will ask the hotel to call my room.     Also i was sitting since 7:50am  in the lobby where it faces the front of the hotel and it has a glass.  So I can see if the tour guide was waiting outside.  But all she was telling me are all excuses and lie. Then she told me “what I want to do because it was my fault I missed the tour”. I told her “Dont give me excuse because all what you are saying is a lie since I have been waiting in the lobby for 2 hours”. Later on she called me and she said she arranged a private tour for me with 2 other people for 11:30am. When I was at that private tour, I found out that the other 2 people I was with, they were also not picked up and they have been waiting for 2 hours also in their lobby.   But they were given a different excuse.   They were not happy too. That is when we found out that, our theory was right, the tour agency messed up and screwed us up and forgot to book our tour.   So she wasted our time by having us wait for 2 hours in the lobby of the hotel. GOOD EXPERIENCE: Rahman knew that the agency representative had messed up the experience and he went above and beyond to accommodate and make our tour great.   He is the best. He picked us up on time (11:30am), actually he was even early. He is friendly and knowledgeable.   He was accommodating of our concern.  He was on time.   He drove us all over Dubai and followed our itinerary and he made sure that even though we started late, that everything in our itinerary has been fulfilled.   He is an asset to the Tour Agency.   He compensated for the mistake that was done by the Tour representative.     Because of his Great service I WOULD RECOMMEND RAHMAN AS A TOUR GUIDE/DRIVER and i would recommend his company ( but not the representative he gave us a terrible experience).

Response from the operator: We are sorry to hear that your experience with our company has not met your expectations. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we are truly sorry that wasn't demonstrated to you. While we could love the opportunity to regain your trust, we understand how disappointed you must be. Our deepest apologies for all the inconvenience we have caused you. We promise that something like this will not happen again

Disappointing

This tour was disappointing because we drove by really nice places, but could not walk around, we only stopped to shop in a place owned by people they knew. You spend the majority of the time on the bus and really can’t experience the souqs.

Response from the operator: We are sorry to hear that your experience was not up to your expectations. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we are truly sorry that wasn't delivered properly. We are not trying to justify anything here but we would like you to know the real reason behind it. The tour you chose was a half-day city tour and the duration of the tour was around 4/5hrs only. A city like Dubai can not be covered in that little time and if we stop by every place then the guest will be able to cover only a couple of attractions only. To cover most of the important destinations, we drove by when it's a half-day Dubai city tour. If it was a full-day Dubai city tour on a private basis, then you would have enough time to walk around most of the places. While we could love the opportunity to regain your trust, we would like to suggest a full-day Dubai city tour on a private basis. Hope we could make the picture clear with our explanation. Thank You so much.

Outclass journey

I booked a private Dubai city Tour with Noor Al Hayat Tourism, we were picked up on time from our Hotel in Barsha Hights. It was a perfect shiny day in Dubai. Our Tour Guide was a super nice guy he explained everything in the car and at the places. Over all it was a nice experience and my favourite part of the city was old Dubai and Abra ride, thousands thanks to our Guide Rehman

Response from the operator: Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback for Noor Al Hayat Dubai city tour and our tour guide Rehman.

Half Day Dubai City Tour (Sharing Basis): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.

How much does Half Day Dubai City Tour (Sharing Basis) cost?

+

Prices start at $31 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half Day Dubai City Tour (Sharing Basis) take?

+

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.

Is Half Day Dubai City Tour (Sharing Basis) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half Day Dubai City Tour (Sharing Basis)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half Day Dubai City Tour (Sharing Basis) suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Half Day Dubai City Tour (Sharing Basis)?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half Day Dubai City Tour (Sharing Basis) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubai?

+

On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Dune Buggy Safari Tour in Red Dunes Options. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubai?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubai?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
